Houston? They are 39-50 right now. 11 games under .500 with 89 games played, they only have 73 games left. Teams like Dodgers and Padres are over 9 games above .500. So your Houston team basically has to go 42-31 in the next 73 (.575 baseball) just to get to .500 which won't even be close enough to win the wild card as the Braves, Phillies, Cubs, Dodgers, Arizona, Colorado, all will be over .500. So stop smoking pot and wake up, your Astros have no pitching other then Oswalt, which doesn't mean anything anyway cause how much run support does he get? Berkman is stikning it up. Just enjoy watching Pence play out of his mind for a team that'll finish 3rd-6th in the NL Central.

Whoever comes in second in the NL West. The NL east will be close, but both the Mets and Braves are faltering a little too much for the wild card to come out of there...right now. There is a lot of season to be played though. No offense, but I am more than willing to take your money on the Astros, I would enjoy winning that bet.

Actually before today Arizona was 3.5 games out of the Wild Card. If the Braves start losing, Giants start winning, and Arizona gets hot, then the DBacks will win the Wild Card....But the Braves will have to choke for that to happen.

I think it will be the Braves. Even though I would like them to win the NL East to make sure their in, I think the Mets will hold on. I think that either way, both teams will go, one as the division winner, the other as the wild card. It will be a battle to beat the Diamondbacks or Dodgers for the wild card, but I think one of them will.

Houston? We have a problem. And they are called The Cubs. Houston fans should soon relaize that 2005 was a fluke.
