During the TNT broadcast this was brought up and Kyle Petty said this would be the first time if Busch were to win the cup race, that a driver won 2 majors(Busch and Cup) in the same day.

What happend on Saterday was the first time that had happend in like 25 years ago, I don't think that the same driver won both races.

No, I don't know. They don't typically run two races on the same day.

Well usually they don't run Busch and Cup the same day, but you know they ran them Sat. cuz if rain delay Fri. night. But the 1st weekend of this year at Daytona, Kevin Harvick won both, and the 2nd weekend, Matt Kenseth won both. It wasn't the same exact day, but it was the same exact weekend. Or it was one of those first few weekends when the new season started.

Kyle was just inches away from making history. I would have been happy for him.
