is he that bad for you guys or are jsut jealous that he is as good as MJ when he was playing. kobe bryant is soo good and he does not deserved to be hated. okay, he mabe a little demanding but thats cuz he's the best player in the NBA...and he's been on the freakin lakers for like what 11 years? and what about garnett he wanted to be traded from the t-wolves cuz he obviously wants to win a championchip after being on a sucky team for 12 years...

Instead of NHL teams in places like Raleigh-Durham, Atlanta, Nashville and Sunrise, Florida, how about putting NHL teams in places where people appreciate the sport, like in Europe? Or at least, back in Hartford, Winnipeg and Quebec City and maybe now Hamilton. Has Tampa, Carolina and Anaheim winning the Cup done anything for the sport? No, those places haven't become hockey hotbeds. Dilution has weakened the sport and alienated true fans.

I really want to get out on my new bike more often, but its been so dang hot out lately (in the 90s with high humidity). I try to go early in the morning or just before it gets dark, but that doesn't always work with my schedule.

Of course, I bring water with me, but is there anything else I should keep in mind if I am going to bike in the heat?

I'm curious....I know there are Kobe fans, and Kobe bashers....
I'm not here to promote the guy and I'm not here to bash him.

I'm just curious as to what mature Kobe fans have to say.

Look at the situations Kobe and KG are in.....looks awefully similar to me.
-basic situation here....superstar who has littel to no talent around him-
Kobe has been in that situation for a couple years
KG.....his whole career

and look at how both of them are/have been handling things.
What reasons are their to like Kobe more than KG?
Is it just the fact that he plays for the Lakers?
or am I missing something?

I'm also not trying to say this to promote KG....
it's just an interesting comparison to me

I'm honestly curious as to what people have to say, and not any of the immature garbage that is so common on here.

Earlier in this year's season people were asking about final four teams and everyone were picking the pistons to win the east. I know they made it to the finals in back to back years but they were beaten in the end. Do you think they are still the best team in the east and should other teams fear them as much.
