I love bluefish and I am looking for the best spot to fish for them. Any ideas?

Plenty of bluefish on Long Island, NY. Best places are Montauk, Robert Moses, Jones Beach, Port Washington parking lot, Manhasset Bay, etc. In Brooklyn, Carnarsie Piers. In Queens, Little Neck Bay. In New Jersey Sandy Hook. Or take a party boat that goes to the Chlorea Banks in the New York Bight. Bluefish are by far the funniest fish to catch simply because they are as tough as overcooked steak. As far as bluefish you could catch them from North Carolina to Maine during the summer, and northern Florida during the winter.

the absolute best places for catching blue fish are along the southern east coast and along the gulf of mexico in florida and alabama, they can easily be caught fishing in the surf right off the beach Look for them swimming in schools on breaking waves

Go on a fishing charter boat. They know exactly where to find large schools of blues. I've done it several times myself and have yet to be disappointed.

Are you near panama city ,fl. if so we caught over 90 of them trolling!But watch out for a good shark or 2!
