the lakers aren't going to win a title no matter who they trade him to, the only difference is that they might have to play an extra game or two against him out of 82 games.

THIS IS MAN LAW 101!

No man in his right mind is gonna mess with a women scorned! If the Lakers trade Kobe to another conference team...thats exactly what he'd be A WOMEN SCORNED! Kobe would be so pissed at them holding him to 81 would be a good thing, hell he might put up a 100 by the half!

The West makes up most of the best teams in the league. The most to stand out are the Mavs, Spurs, and Suns. Not far behind are the Jazz and Rockets.

If the Lakers were to trade Kobe to a division rival, that would give them a hard time trying to make it to the playoffs, since, No. 1, they have to try and achieve a better record than that team to even make it to the playoffs; and No. 2, the team who would have Kobe would most likely give them trouble during the playoffs, if the team with Bryant manages to make it to the playoffs.

The Lakers would first have to overcome the West, in order to play against the best of the East during a championship game. Giving another team a greater advantage on the same division, let alone the same conforence would definately give the Lakers a rough time.

Not really. The last thing you want to see is your best player coming back to humilate you more after you trade him. This is Kobe, we're talking about here. The one who lit up Toronto for 81 points. I think the city Los Angeles and their fans would hate to see that happen. Especially, considering there are still some die hard KB24 fans out there that it might cause a backlash in ticket sales. If the Laker's management are going to trade the superstar, they would want to obtain another superstar in return (Paul Pierce, KG, Jermaine O'Neal, etc) so they won't look like idiots giving away a player many regard as the next Michael. They would want their fans to forget this situation as soon as possible so trading him to an east coast team would minimize the amount of games they see him every year just like how they shipped Shaq to the east coast a few years back. Plus, Kobe has a no trade cause in his contract so he has a say in who he gets traded to. Since he wants to win another championship and he saw the way LeBron was able to take a mediocre team to the finals, you would bet that Kobe would definitely be more interested in playing in the eastern conference.

no want. James has the completed cavaliers on arrest ever because of the fact he reported on interview that he could circulate someplace else if he ought to probability upon the championship. That on my own has the impact of the Shaquille O'Neal information hitting the Magic that he will ditch them for the Lakers. whilst James walked out of the Magic section after game 6 without asserting a be conscious, that could have introduced on warning around the Cavs group... perhaps Ferry revisiting the foiled Shaquille O'Neal commerce and dialling numbers all summer season long. desire this facilitates.

There trying to avoid unwanted media attention. This is LA were talking about here. Only place that has more pressure from the press/media is NY. When things are going good there great, but when your struggling, it could be unbearable.

its really stupid what you just said. its like saying you don't care if your gonna send him to a team thats really good and your gonna have to play 7 times a year than send to a team that is bad and you play agaisnt 2 times. and plus if they trade them to a eastern conference team you don't have to see him in the playoffs.
