Has anyone ever torn an intercostal muscle or oblique while sparring or in competition...maybe even a cartilage tear on the ribs? If so how long did it take to heal and how did you treat it? I have a nasty strain on my right side, and I'm guessing I strained a muscle in the area or tore an intercostal. I'm not in terrible pain as I was on the day the injury occurred, but I do feel that slight pain when taking a deep breath, coughting, or apply too much pressure...I read I should take about 2-4 weeks off and the injury will take about 6 weeks to heal...any tips are help determining what the injury actually is!

Let's say we're going on Safari in Africa for several weeks without contact with a town, with the goal of seeing as much wildlife as possible.

Obivously you'd need a gun to hunt food, everything from game birds to red meat. And as back up you'd need something in case you were cornered by a big cat (or similar pred). Bearing in mind the terrain would vary between wide open plains to rainforest with literally a few feet of visibility and barely enough room to swing a gun.

You were only allowed one gun.

Keeping all of this in mind, what would you go for? Rifle, shotgun, and what loading mechanism? What calibre or gauge? Remember you could be shooting anything from wildebeest to pigeons.

Now anything can be mentioned whether it simply be a marketing aspect, changing some aspect of the game, or something entirely unrelated that will help gain attention. The good kind of attention at least. I heard recently that the NHL ranks the same as the WNBA and Indy-Car in the popularity in the USA. Now unlike those sports the NHL regulary has sold out arenas and good attendence. So what can be done to increase the NHL popularity?

I don't understand the ins and outs of it. Why is the count so important? Why should the hitter not swing sometimes(based on the count)? All the little details of what is going on between the pitcher and Hitter-I just can't grasp it. I stupidly thought that the pitcher simply tried to throw a pitch that the hitter couldn't hit, but it seems to be much more complicated. Help?

Wow. I can't believe what a great race! I am so proud of Curlin! I know he didn't win and he got second to a filly but still he only lost by like a head! He gave everything!
Rags To Riches did a good job, but I still wish Curlin would've won it.
Well at least Curlin will be in the Breeders Cup. Right?

Jim Basille has renewed his lease option on Copps but some people say the building won't be ready for the Predators for at least a year or two. I know the scoreboard is the from the Winnipeg Arena, but other than that what does the building need? Is it short of luxury boxes or something? Shouldn't 19000 seats be plenty?

Well its clearly visible on yahoo answers that everyone is picking the pats to go 19-0 and win the superbowl. But does anyone feel that these huge expectations will get to them and actually make them worse? Brady has never had people expecting him to put up big stats they only expected him to win. So what happens when he throws a couple of INT's and everyone is freaking out and Moss gives him a hard time.

It had been several years since I worked out on a heavy bag and I felt pretty good after my workout. That evening my leg started aching and for the last couple of days it's been really hurting me. It feels like the ball socket in my hip wants to pop out. Did I strain the muscle or is it possible that I cracked the joint? When your fishing crankbaits do you attach an interlock swivels so you can change lures easily or do you tie them directly to the line? What effect to the bait do you think using a swivel will have on the running depth?
