indeed the table on soccernet lists barca topping the table due to its superior goal difference... however, if real madrid and barcelona end up with the same record, real will win the la liga due to its better head to head against barca...

nope they're still second due to head to head results with real madrid. Since Barca lost one and drew the other, they now depend on real madrid to not win in order to have a chance of getting ahead and winning la liga on the final day
