Are they the same people who buy tickets for both teams, or do they attract a totally different crowd?

The Toronto Marlies are lucky if they get their mothers and girlfriends out to a game, but the Chicago Wolves seem to thrive.

You are wrong.Chicago has four pro hockey teams.I know because I have season tickets for all four teams. They are The Chicago Black Hawks,The Chicago Cubs,The Chicago White Six and the Chicago Bears. And they are not located in Chicago. They all play in Gary,Indiana.Papa Bear George Halas and I share the same suite for the games.Unfortunately the suite is at Tiger Stadium in Baltimore. The Cubs last won the Stanley Cup in 1735,the White Six in 1931,the Bears in 2009 and the Black Hawks in 1493,the year after Columbus arrived(supposedly). The Cubs were the last team to hold both the Stanley Cup and World Champions of MLB in the same year.Hope this helps.I'm watching the Bulls against the Flyer's tonight.

The Blackhawks are an original six team so they get fans even if they do poorly with winning and marketing etc.

The Wolves are very popular for some reason or another. I know of people who watch the Wolves but not the Hawks, prolly because of the price discrepancy.

I'd say the real trick here is getting people to care about minor league hockey, which the Wolves have apparently pulled off.

The AHL team may get good gates for their games, but from what I understand the Black hawks havent drawn flies since they moved out of the old Chicago Stadium. Maybe they should have designed the United Centre just like it with the pipe organ and the walk upstairs to the ice and the piss in the aisleways

Yes. - It will work in Chicago.

They will each attract a different breed of fan. The conservative people will stay with the BlackHawks and the liberal fans will support the WhiteHawks.
