I would say Jeff Weaver is the worst pitcher in the bigs. The Mariners would be better off starting Morrow, he brings the heat.
Second worst might be Sidney Ponson.

People are blaming the cricket administrators but is it not a fact that electronic media and certain TV channels are creating a great hype in favour of certain players day in and day out just because they have been playing good in the past and established good reputation though they are becoming useless gradually. Media does create very good public opinion in their favour with the result that the selectors are afraid to drop them and encourage and bring in new generation of good players as because the media and some past good players on the backing of their past achievements , together again vehemently appose and criticise the selectors and Board. The Indian Cricket cannot improve like this.

I want to get in to this sport as there is a shooting club nearby, and they are willing to let me try out a few guns to 'get a feel' for the right model that suits me best.

A friend, who is a gamekeeper, has offered me one of his guns for £250 should I like the feel of it- it is brand new and he got it as a gift, but really doesn't have space for it so is willing to pass it on to me for a good price; it has only ever fired one box of shells and comes with a lifetime guarentee.

As I am in the UK will this gun be a good for clay shooting- £250 seems good for a brand new gun whereas I could easily spend just as much on a second-hand model!

I have included a link to the gun below as they are still in production.

Thanks!

This isn't a complete list, but right now we have:
2 Franklins,
1 REW Reynolds (my touring bike...good for long distances),
1 Lotus (my "baby" pearl black and kind of a salmon color),
1 Cannondale,
1 Mercian,
1 road-style Raleigh,
2 british-built Raleigh 3 speeds (ugly now but good commuters),
1 Eddy Merckx,
1 Peugot.

There's a lot more, but I'd have to go actually look to tell you what the are. Hubby has been in the bike field for about 35 years and once owned his own shop in New Orleans!

Ok nascar fans, this has been botherin me all day. How come Tony Stewart gets the finishing position of 28th and not 6th or whereever he was. The reason I ask is because this. On the 2nd attempt of green-white-check, if theres a caution the field freezes and the race is over, NOT a the scoring marker but when the yellow was dropped (nascar rules). The yellow on the last lap was cause behind Tony Stewart from the crash in turn 2. Tony was then wrecked by the 26/36 cars AFTER the yellow. If you watch replay you can see the flagman and lights yellow. So Tony did not CAUSE the yellow and if the race is over as soon as the yellow dropped how come he didnt get the top 10?

If it were the checkard flag and he didnt cross the line etc.. but its not, fields FROZEN on the YELLOW, race over, on the yellow tony is in 6th.. whats up with this??

I applaud Arsenal for their stand against the takeover. I think it would be detrimental to Arsenal to let Kroenke take over. The passion that is created by EPL is that all the investor put their heart and souls into their teams. Kroenke has teams here in the state and will just add Arsenal to his collection. He is patetically trying to ruin EPL and Arsenal. I'm from the states and I think Arsenal needs to keep Kroenke from achieving the takeover at all costs. Anyone agree?

For those of you that are under the age of 30, I should begin by first explaining the phrase "jump the shark." In the 1970s, "Happy Days" was one of the most popular TV shows in America, anchored by the Cunningham family and the uber-cool Fonzie, as portrayed by Henry Winkler. Eventually, as with all TV shows, major characters began to move on, stories became silly and plots thin. During one particularly awful episode, a series of dopey circumstances led Fonzie to attempt to leap over a shark while riding water skis and wearing his trademark leather jacket (the latter point is particularly stupid since salt water would destroy such apparel, especially 30 years ago). The episode was so painfully reaching and horrible, that it came to symbolize the moment when a long running successful TV show has reached its peak and the decline as begun. Since then, the phrase has been applied to a myriad of situations, movements and on-going storylines that have seen better days.

Now, as Bugs Bunny would say, "on with the show:"

This question was asked but resolved before many people had time to answer, so I'm reopening it. Look under "resolved questions" for my answers: Ace Hudkins, Ad Wolgast and now that I think of him, Mysterious Billy Smith. All these guys would be looking not just to ko you, but hurt you badly before they do. Then they'd probably come looking for you AFTER the fight!

Guys like Sonny Liston and Mike Tyson would be scary, but quick(they'd probably ko you before doing any real damage). Just my point of view.

So be honest, folks. Who would really put the fear of the maker into you?

I have a Barry Bonds rookie card. It's a TOPPS card and I was curious the value of such a card once he breaks Hank Aaron's all-time record.
I know some of you will say give it away because you hate him, but please only answer if you have a notion how much this card will go for online or over the counter.
