I would say Jeff Weaver is the worst pitcher in the bigs. The Mariners would be better off starting Morrow, he brings the heat.
Second worst might be Sidney Ponson.

Jeff Weaver. He has had so many chances to pitch in this league and has failed every time. He is not major league material.

1-Worst
14- Best of the worst

1. Jerome Williams
2. Mark Redman
3. Sidney Ponson
4. Eric Milton
5. Jae Seo
6. Byung Hyung Kim
7. Odalis Perez
8. Tony Armas Jr.
9. Josh Fogg
10. Jaret Wright
11. Jeff Weaver
12. Brandon McCarthy
13. Kip Wells (fast start until now. Now he's showing us the Kip Wells we all know and love).
14. Jason Marquis (how do you leave him off. how can he have losing records in St. Louis when the Cardinals were one of the best teams in baseball, and oh yeah, his ERA is like 6 and gives up too much HR.)

Weaver is bad, but not the worst. Look at his 04 stats and what he did in the postseason last year. Otherwise, he sucks. So do a lot of other names on my list. How did all of you forget about Jerome Williams!!!!!!!!!!!

theres tons of horrible starters but jeff weaver isnt the worst he's just having a bad start. Sidney Ponson is a great candidate for worse pitcher but there are believe or not worse pitchers than him Eric Milton is horrible and so is jaret wright. Another two who are pretty bad are tony armas jr. and Mark Redman.

I'm going to go with Darrell Rasner. He's the number five starter for the Yankees, and they're definitely the worst pitching team in baseball. He is a reliever, but they have him listed as a starter due to all the injuries.

%. up McCarthy or liriano the two have been ounce potentialities at one time and pitch in pitcher freindly parks. Jonathon neise would be an rather sturdy determination yet provided that david wright comes lower back to offer him the run help for wins

the worst starting pitchers in baseball are no longer in the big leagues. guys like jorge sosa who do nothing but give up long balls get demoted quickly.

no matter how poor a starting pitcher may be, if he's in the majors he deserves his spot.

Tony Armas Jr. Pirates would be much better having Shawn Chacon in the rotation..

Julian Tavaras of the Red Sox. He is a fairly good reliever, but as a starter, he just does NOT measure up.

Chow!!
