Boston has the best record in the league so far and is steamrolling the competition. Beckett is 5-0 and Matsuzaka is getting the job done against the Yankees. Wakefield is looking pretty good too. The bats are hot, and it seems like they are taking turns playing "Hero Of The Day." I believe the Red Sox will finish with the best record in the AL and will be going to the World Series. The Red Sox match-up well against the NL if not better then almost all of the teams. It seems one of the only teams that could handle them in the World Series would be the Mets. Now don't get me wrong I am a die-hard Met fan, but the Red Sox Lineup is loaded as well, and they do have a great advantage in the bullpen with Okajima, Timlin, and Papelbon, versus Sanchez(when he comes back) Heilman and Wagner. I'd have to say that I agree, Boston in '07.

I'm not sure what a "champiom" is but I do know that at the end of the baseball season come the playoffs. Boston can enjoy the moment while it lasts, but come October it will be the same old song. "Yankees Win".

They are guarenteed to be the best... team in New England.
I don't know what kind of responses you are looking for here.
Boston fans will say yes because they hope so, mostly everyone else will say no or not answer.
They have a 1:30 chance before the season starts and it's rapidly improving. But a few key injuries and they are done. Their offence is getting old, they are hanging on to Varitek too long, Ramirez isn't doing much. Their 2nd baseman is a rotating position. One of their biggest potentials is sitting on the bench waiting for Drew to finally get injured and they don't have real power from 1B or 3B.
So, for every reason you could say that they will, I could probably come up with 2 to say they won't.
How about you just wait till the end of the season and you can find out like rest of us.
They are guarenteed to be in the lower quarter of the league in Wins per $ spent though, still higher than the Yankees, but still amongst the worse.

Boston has a great chance and now that the "CURSE" is over people can believe in them. They have an incredible pitching staff starting and relief. The offense is great as usual, i just cant wait to see what there lineup will be like when manny starts hitting.
In the end i think the angels will take the crown because there pitching, hitting, and speed combo is the best in all of baseball.
