For those of you who watched the World Cup on sunday, why do think he did that? My friends and I had a feeling he already wanted out when he first hurt his shoulder and was taken to the sidelines. you could tell he didn't wanna play anymore. The only reason he went back in was to make the fans happy. But why do you think he would do such a thing?

I'm 21 years old, and I've been a pretty avid runner ever since high school. I used to run distance in highschool track, and now I play rugby where I run around for 90 minutes a game and have never had a foot problem until two weeks ago. I had been going on a lot of 3-5 mile runs lately to prepare for rugby and I decided to extend my 5 mile run on the treadmill to 10 miles. I didn't notice anything until about 1 hour after I finished when I felt a sharp pain on the outside of my left foot. At first I thought heel spur or maybe a stress fracture, but the podiatrist was clueless. The pain seems to be the worst when I put pressure on my arch, but is less painful when I curl my foot, walk on just my heel, or walk on just my toes. Since the injury, the pain has reduced significantly and seems to be going away, but I want to be sure to avoid any reoccuring injuries. I'm going to stay off running for a while, but any ideas on what this pain is?

Zidane is the lord of football and who ever disagrees with me can take a spoon to eat my @$$.

Materazzi and coach Lipi know Zizou very well since Jeuventus days. Materazzi had to get Zidane out before penalties. So he insulted his religion and his mom.

Zizou instantly changed colours and gave him the " Head of God" just like Maradona's " Hand of God"

talk about FIFA's slogan " Say No To Rasicim" ... my @$$

I really hope he'll coach a great team like Barcelona or Chelsea. He's an amazing player he is! France and the whole world loves him

zidane will never grace a football pitch professionaly again, football has lost one of its all time greats, there are many players get called great but not all deserve the title, zidane does and now he is gone, this is not a question i know, but feel free to leave comments

I know ChiSox Manager (Ozzy G) was only joking after his teams 19 inning win over the BoSox last night...but does his idea seem too ridiculous to try maybe in the minors to see what it does to the game? All fans know that regular season marathons can really beat up bullpens and can really have a real detrimental effect on teams. I personally think it would be exciting and good for baseball, but I would like to see what some other baseball bums like me think too. To give it a try in some minor league system next season (to test it) is all I am proposing at this point.

In the 15 or so years I have been a die hard fan, I cannot remember being this angry about the team and its future. I'm sad that we didn't offer manny the #1 spot that he deserves. I'm sad that we are going to sign belfour. I'm sad shanny and stevie left. I'm sad that we signed Osgood. Is there going to be anything positive happening this offseason?

In the aftermath of a shocking performance in the world cup I would expect (and hope) that the FA have realised that they were probably a bit hastey in there appointment of steve mclaren.

although he is the natural successor, a complete overhaul is what is needed instead of the impationate approach which has taken us nowhere.

Who would you have in charge?
