Why some rugby players kick or even step on those who lying on the ground?

Some players deliberately kick or even step on those who lying on the ground in a RUCK, but in most of the cases nobody claims! Even the judge doesn't say anything.

Who thinks MATERAZZI is an A$$*****?

I mean all the questions I have seen so far were about Zidane, and not about MATERAZZI. I am not protecting Zidane, I think he shouldn't have done what he did... it's not good sportsmanship at alll... but shouldn't we cut him some slack? it's emotional enough to be fighting for a WC and missing a goal and someone tellls you something insulting ( especially if it is really something about ur mother)... I think a lot of us would do the same... and many people would even think that it's nobel to protect ur dignity...so who here thinks that MATERAZZI is the real A$$***** here who was just provocing a fight?

Has 'sportmanship' gone out of football. That's impression I got watching this latest world cup.?

I have never seen such disgusting behaviour from so called sports stars, head butting, punching, stomping, diving, blatant cheating and obious bias from referees.
The whole competition was a farce from beginning to end.
I don't think the fans are hooligans anymore, it's the over paid morons kicking the ball from one end of the pitch to the other. Rooney fine was a piss take, his girlfriend spends more on a handbag. Morons like him should be banned for a season.
There again, Zidane head butts a rival player, following day gets voted player of the tournament. Says it all.
