No NO NO
Brazil played Ronaldinho in a totally different position (Left Wing almost) than he does for Barca where he plays in the hole behind 2 main strikers,
That's where Ronaldinho is at his best linking midfield with with attack and running past strikers who are holding the ball up.
WHY Brazil stuck him out on the left is beyond me, Ronaldinho is THE most creative player in World football today and Brazil sticking him on the left touch line only hampered their own chances, As we all seen at the World Cup because Ronaldinho was almost unreckognisable from the player who Almost single handedly Won La Liga (The best League in Europe) and the Champions League
It was Perriera's folly to waste such a talent

What crap. Ronaldinho is a future Brazilian captain. He didn't have a successful World Cup 2006, that doesn't mean he hasn't played class football for Brazil. He played great in the Confederations Cups he has played in. He was class in the 2002 World Cup, and the U-17 World Championship. Petty really.

I don't think there's a difference! he plays well in both of them 'cause his the best in the world oh and if u are refering at the loss of brasil in the WC I don't think that ronaldinho should be blamed for it,the team has more than one player, but see not everybody thinks the same way, some love him, some hate him,and there are some who only value what he does-me-

because as Pele said..those guys train for years...but when he plays for Brasil he had only a month to prepare...

another thing is this...in any sport if you change a player's position, he has to readjust to that role...

here you are taking a forward who is accustomed to attack and score...and you are taking the fizz out of the sofa...by making him a passer without any thought of scoring...

that is the same as putting a left hander on 2nd base (everybaseball fan knows this will never work)
it is the same as putting a QB as a OLB...it just won't work

so imagine when you(Zagallo/Parreira) sabotage someone's career like that in the World Cup...of course Ronaldinho did his best in the new foreign role...but really what do you expect???

He was awesome in Barcelona because he was allowed to be himself..

Cause this Brazilian side was just a bunch of stars that neither learned to play as a team, nor found themselves jelling as a team during the cup.

Because when he plays for brazil he plays against more expirienced and better opponents than when he plays for club teams.
