I personally get a little upset when people get mad at me for saying "Merry Christmas" they say it's "not politically correct". and That it might offend those who don't believe in Jesus and God. And i'm just wondering, how could someone try to take Christ out of "Christ"mas? I would be mad if someone tried to take me out of my birthday.

what do you think?

Being a TRUE Christian, I can say exactly how life changes:

It gets 300% better!

Back when I was a sinner, I used to like science, and used to believe in evolution because it just made sense. I also used to sleep around with girlfriends and have all kinds of sinful fun. I could go and watch an R rated movie and not feel guilty and I used to read psychology and philosophy.

BUT all that has changed now! I only read the Bible, because it is TRUTH CONCENTRATE! I am trying to memorize the whole thing, so my brain can be inoculated against all this LOGIC and REASON that satanic atheists keep trying to use against GOD.

I haven't had sex in three years, since I was RESCUED BY JESUS! Of course, I only study creationism now, not science, because everybody knows that Satan uses science.

He uses philosophy and psychology too, so I stopped reading that. It was making my faith weak with all the logic and reason they used.

Although you have not seen, you will
soon believe. And when that GREAT
DAY comes, will you believe in God,
then ? Simple question. Would you
question your own self, if you had
a second chance at life, to get it right ?
Best answer wins.

I'm a Christian, but I know better than to think that Christians are the only ones with morals. Morals and religion are seperate... so why do we keep saying (in a nutshell), "You are a horrible, sinning piece of garbage if you don't believe?"

Jehovah's Witnesses insist that we need to call our God Jehovah. Majority of dictionaries and encyclobedia that you look at under the heading of "Jehovah", it says Jehovah is a false and erroneus pronunciation for the name of God of the Bible.

And do not say that Jehovah is the English pronunciation of the Hebrew word 'Yahweh' because that is not true. If you insist, show me something by a scholar that confirms that statement.

I sometimes see names spelled out in yellow snow. If God doesn't exist, then how does the yellow snow fall in such an organized pattern?

this poem really represent how we muslim girls feel toward our religion and our hijab
this only for clarifying the misconcetion about us
(What do you see
when you look at me
Do you see someone limited,
or someone free
All some people can do is just look and stare
Simply because they can't see my hair
Others think I am controlled and uneducated
They think that I am limited and un-liberated
They are so thankful that they are not me
Because they would like to remain 'free'
Well free isn't exactly the word I would've used
Describing women who are cheated on and abused
They think that I do not have opinions or voice
They think that being hooded isn't my choice
They think that the hood makes me look caged
That my husband or dad are totally outraged
All they can do is look at me in fear
And in my eye there is a tear
Maybe the guys won't think I am a cutie
But at least I am filled with more inner beauty

Is this a description of modern day weoponry? If so, what could it describe?

Revelation 9
2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power

7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men

. 8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.

9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.

10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.

consider this. the name elway breaks up into two words, el and way. el is spanish for the. hence elway translates into "the way". jesus referred to himself as "the way". furthermore, there is something about jesus returning with a team of white horses. denver broncos anyone? plus if you look at the year jesus was born, approximately 3 b.c. according to some scholars, and look 2000 years into the future, when jesus was said to be making a most victorious return, what happened? the broncos won the superbowl. is it all just coincidence? probably, but you'll never convince me otherwise.

I think there are several gods but only one God worthy of worship - He's the one that made us all! The only reason they're not talked about in the Bible is because they're unworthy, and can and will do HORRIBLE things! My God doesn't do anything like they do...He gave us free will and he abides by His own rule - Satan will convince people to do awful things and the only thing God can do to stop those people is nudge him to choose those strong enough to handle it as his victims so long as his choosing was going to be random. Let me know what you think!! I've never really shared this idea with anyone yet.

I think of a god as a powerful being on a higher level of existence (not visible unless they decide to be).

Catholicism celebrates Spring solstice

Easter is always celebrated on the first sunday after the first full moon of spring solstice

Eid mubharak is always celebrated on the first sunday, after the first full moon, of winter solstice

Looks liek a bunch of pagans created relegieons to convert the masses to celebrate the solstices....

Why do we eat eggs and bunnies, what have these got to do with Christ?

I know they have a lot to do with a persian goddess called ishtar, whose reincarnation was represented with eggs, and whose fertility is represented with bunny rabbits

By celebrating the spring solstice and the winter solstice, the old romance of the sun god and moon god, to the esoteric inside Catolicism and Islam are one in the same.

Catholcism claims to love Jesus, but esoterically thwey worship ishtar

and Islam thinks Jesus is not god, therefore no need to pretend about how they like him

what says you?

My mother side family were all Buddhists, they tend to think so pessimistic, I don't understand why anyone wants to be one.
She always tell us don't give birth to another life, because life is suffer, once you died, you're to be reborn, if you didn't do well in your past life, you're be born as a animal, get butchered. I don't get this idea at all, but yet I was raised in this.
Buddhists tell me if this twisted?

it seems that many of our educated breathran that know so much about the church, for example protestants and atheists both, might actually want to read some liturature about the church they profess knowing so much about. so for now please help me construct a list of books written by the saints to help our enlightened brothers out

St Augustine

On Genesis
The Trinity
On Cristian Teaching
The City of God
The Apologies

St. Thomas Aquinas

Summa Theologica
Summa Contra Gentiles
On Evil

St. Francis De Sales

Treatise on the Love of God
The Catholic Controversy

theres many many more, if you feel like adding to the list feel free to list the titles and who they were written by.

OK so according to my understanding, and please correct me if I am wrong, If there was a man/woman living in middle of desert/jungle and never heard of Jesus Christ and he/she died then their soul would be judged on it's own merits.

But if you go and try to convert them and talk about Jesus then that same person would go to Hell unless he/she signs up for the Jesus package.

So if this is the way it works......Aren't you being a bunch of ******* for trying to "spread the word" since you are going out of your way to damn people?

Science doesn't know enough about evololution and what formed everything. They have theories.
Religion's have faith. No one knows. To claim that you know without a doubt is presumptuous.
How can faith be the proof of things not seen? There are so many different faiths?
So if no one really knows please stop arguing it is pointless.
