consider this. the name elway breaks up into two words, el and way. el is spanish for the. hence elway translates into "the way". jesus referred to himself as "the way". furthermore, there is something about jesus returning with a team of white horses. denver broncos anyone? plus if you look at the year jesus was born, approximately 3 b.c. according to some scholars, and look 2000 years into the future, when jesus was said to be making a most victorious return, what happened? the broncos won the superbowl. is it all just coincidence? probably, but you'll never convince me otherwise.

nonbelievers, what will you say when you die and john elways asks you why you didn't believe in him?

i think the point of this question is if you look at any two events, as unrelated as they may be, you'll eventually be able to draw a connection between the two, even though they aren't connected at all. those who want to believe will call it prophecy, those who don't will call it coincidence.

Didn't watch enough of Elway to judge him. However, being a Giant fan and living in the NY Metro Area, I watch Eli every week. I think Eli is one of the best QBs in the NFL. Here in 2009, if the Giant's defense was at least average, they would be at least 9-4 right now. But what you do you know. All Eli did was listen to his Dad. Archie was an outstanding quarterback for the Saints, but the Saints didn't go anywhere because they were the doormat of the NFL whose owners weren't suited to run a NFL franchise. You don't sit at the Manning dinner table and listen in on their discussions. Can you really blame Archie for not wanting his son to go through he same thing that he went through. Hey I might be totally biased because I a Giants fan, but how can you not respect the resiliency of these two quarterbacks. Elway lost three Superbowls before finally winning two in consecutive years. Eli played poorly in his early years but overcame the criticism of over-demanding Giant fans and went on the most improbable and miraculous Cinderella Story run of all time and won a Superbowl.

I have never heard of this man. Jesus will return not as a man but in Spirit! If any man claims to be Jesus he is the Anti-Christ.
