There were times in my past when I would have answered "no" to that question, but now, I answer "yes".

A choice implies options. Is it just yes/no? What are the ramifications of "no"? Are there a range of options to choose from?
With limited information, "yes" seems to be the most logical response... but the entire question presumes consciousness and decision-making ability prior to birth, which is by no means a definite.

No I'd stay in the supernatural reality in which I was accustomed. Do you intentionally kill yourself so you can be reborn? No, you like the reality in which you have been accustomed, having the ability to choose, suggests consciousness. Where exactly would this unborn entity be conscious? Or are you saying while in mom's womb? Then mom is the only one with the real choice.

How should I know?
If I chose not to be born, then I wouldn't exist to make such a choice. There is no way to know what the experience (if you can call it that) of nonexistence is like. It wouldn't be unlike nothing you haven't ever not experienced.

now that I know I'm gonna go to hell for not believing in god no. honestly Id much rather not have been born than having to believe in some guy so I wont burn forever.
thats kind of messed up on god's behalf now isnt it? he knows who will and wont believe in him and he actually lets them be born...so they can burn later when he could just prevent them from being born to begin with...

Yes. I would have changed the poor choices into something I would have done for God instead.

I would, but I would want to be born in a better country than this one! Maybe Canada instead of US of A!
