OK so according to my understanding, and please correct me if I am wrong, If there was a man/woman living in middle of desert/jungle and never heard of Jesus Christ and he/she died then their soul would be judged on it's own merits.
But if you go and try to convert them and talk about Jesus then that same person would go to Hell unless he/she signs up for the Jesus package.
So if this is the way it works......Aren't you being a bunch of ******* for trying to "spread the word" since you are going out of your way to damn people?

Rick A> Where are those Christians because the majority of the ones I know all smile like demons when they talk about how others will burn and suffer.
You're right I am responsible for me and if I choose to live a good life and be good to others and God rejects me because I did not wear a Jesus pin on my jacket then know what...God isn't good enough for me since an eternity with anything like that would be Hell.
I think God accepts all those who live and do good by whatever name since it is actions and life, not words that measure a soul.

Just remember people Jesus said he was the way....not the christian church is the way.
So if a muslim, jew, voodoo, buddhist, etc lives a good life, is nice to people, shares what he/she has, helps others, and all around good to the world i would say that the muslim, jew, voodoo, buddhist, etc has just as much chance of Heaven as the Christian who lives a good life

You go seek out someone and talk to them and now he/she risks hell as opposed to you leaving them alone and he/she judged on own soul's merits. No that's not the way it works. Here is how it works. You are a sinner along with everybody else. Gods standard is perfection. So God sent his only son to die for us to show his love for us so we may be saved. If you approach this arrogantly or with ego or conceit then you won't be saved.
People always want proof and in mans arrogance he says "Show me proof and I will believe" but in Gods rules he says "No...you believe and then I'll show you proof."
So don't be upset with Christians they didn't write the bible they just follow it. And the Christians don't damn people the people damn themselves.
God has given all free will but you can still make the wrong choices.
What you should really ask is this. What is the wiser way of thinking below?
IF heaven and hell is real and you believe in the words of the bible and God and then you die you have nothing to worry about...and you lived a better life and you were kinder to people.
But...
If heaven and hell is real and you DON"T believe then you are in some scary, terrifying, predicament. I mean this is some very terrifying stuff to mess around with.
Don't let arrogant people (and even your friends that you hang out with) pull you into hell.
Nobody is responsible for your damnation but yourself and nobody is responsible for your salvation but yourself.
Thank God for the Christians that's all I have to say. At least they are willing to take criticism and all the while they talk about Hell because they DON"T want anybody to go there.
If they wan'ted you to go to hell they wouldn't be talking about it they'd just let you go.
I have never, ever seen someone read the bible and pray and not become a Christian. There are some folks that have lied to me and said they did read it and nothing happened but when I question them about the bible it is obvious they are lying and have not read it. Read the book.

It is better that a person doesn't hear the Good News to be restored to God through faith in Jesus Christ, than to hear it (correctly in the Love of God) & reject Gods Love & Word.
When a person rejects Gods love & Word, when the Gospel is presented correctly in the Spirit, then that person has rejected God & is doesn't repent on ones life time will end up in hell fire.
Jesus said for us to preach the Gospel to all creation, making disciples of all peoples. So? Most people actually do accept Jesus Christ Salvation when the Gospel is presented correctly.
Jesus said that the Gospel needs to be preached & published in all nations, then the end shall be. So? This hasn't happened. With this is Gods Spirit poured out on all nations. And the young & the old will have visions & have dreams in the Spirit.
When we spread Gods Word, we are being obedient to Jesus. But we aren't suppose to preach to someone rejecting/ blaspheming God. Because blasphemy isn't forgiven today or tormorrow. Jesus said that those who deny Him, He will deny before His Father.
Those who believe not are damn. It is the persons choice to believe the Truth of God or not believe the Truth of God.

Everyone will have the opportunity to hear about Jesus Christ at some point before the final judgment. So no, the Christian effort to spread the word isn't damning people, it's merely communicating what needs to be communicated.
EDIT: Well you're not making too much sense. If someone gives you advance notice of something, giving you more time to think it over, how is that a disadvantage?

If a person has never heard of Christ and has asked God to reveal Himself to him, God will send someone to him in some way. Also, if that person has ever been in contact with any other human being during his life, then he HAS heard about other beliefs. Your example is hypothetical, but not realistic. Also, Christ will not return until everyone on Earth who is capable of doing so has made a conscious decision for or against Him. That is why the Gospel is being presented via radio and satellite today to every country in the world - even formerly remote places.

Thats a bit of a quandary.... Its similar to killing babies.
If killing a baby ensures it will enter heaven, and 85% or higher adults wont make it, and will be interned for eternity in torture and fire, why don't Christians have a moral obligation to kill babies?
Its a tough question I know, but should be reasoned out. And if you are a truly faithful person, please don't use this as an excuse to kill my kids....Seriously, you need reason to ballance your beliefs.

But we will also be punished if we do not spread the word. God will hold us accountable for that too. We do our part in telling them about it, then they have to accept it. If they die without knowing about God and Jesus, then they will be told about the plan when they die. Then they can still choose to accept or reject it.

NO you B-Hole. Seriously though if they are judged on their own merit they will still fall short b/c they haven't even lived up to their own value system. Read Romans Ch. 1 it explains why people don't believe in God.
18The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
21For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.
24Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
28Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. 29They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

No one is going to perish in "the Lake of Fire" (hell) until they have HEARD and UNDERSTOOD the Word of God, and then totally rejected it.....If you want deliverance from your guilty feelings—if you want to repent and you want relief for your feelings of despondency—there is help available. God is not out to trick people into sinning, so He can find an excuse to destroy them. On the contrary, God wants us to be a part of His family and to share in His loving way of life. He wants us to learn from our mistakes, repent and change our lives.
Does your conscience bother you? Scripture explains that those who have actually committed the unpardonable sin have seared their consciences, and are totally consumed with rebellion against God. They are not worried about committing the ultimate transgression. They may be fearful of their ultimate punishment, but they are not equivocating over their unswerving dedication to wickedness and evil.
Just what is the unpardonable sin? Put simply, it is a sin that will not be forgiven. God is willing to forgive our sins if we repent of them, if we are sorry for them and if we are determined to change. But when one seals his conscience to never repent, he cannot be forgiven. Jesus states the problem clearly. "Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation" (Mark 3:28–29).
Jesus said that all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, if they repent of those sins. Yet the one unforgivable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. What does that mean? And how does one blaspheme against the Holy Spirit?
Blasphemy, according to Webster’s Dictionary, is "to speak impiously or irreverently of (God or sacred things)" or "to speak evil of, slander; abuse." A parallel gospel account gives us a powerful example. "Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He [Jesus] healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw. And all the multitudes were amazed and said, ‘Could this be the Son of David?’" (Matthew 12:22–23).
The crowds recognized that the prophesied Messiah, the Son of David, would be able to accomplish this miracle, but the Pharisees falsely asserted that Jesus used the power of Satan. "Now when the Pharisees heard it they said, ‘This fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons’" (Matthew 12:24).
These accusers blasphemed—they spoke evil of God’s miraculous work through the Holy Spirit. Jesus warned them powerfully: "Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come" (Matthew 12:31–32).
We all need to heed that warning. Notice the Apostle Paul’s warning to Christians: "If we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins" (Hebrews 10:26).
Willful sin is a fully conscious and determined act and attitude to never repent of sin. The willful sinner is intractable. He or she has a conscience seared to do evil. This kind of sinner will never even entertain the thought of repenting and desiring to return to God’s way of life (cf. 1 Timothy 4:2). The incorrigibly wicked are not blinded like the rest of the world; they have "knowledge of the truth." They know the effect of Christ’s sacrifice, yet they profane it. Such ones face "a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?" (Hebrews 10:27–29).
Yes, there will be a fiery judgment—a lake of fire for those who persist in sinning willfully and who insult the Spirit of grace. Scripture also gives a warning to all who, as Christians, have been "partakers of the Holy Spirit." Remember that God gives the Holy Spirit to those "who obey Him" (Acts 5:32). If Christians willfully turn back to evil—if they fall away and turn to an attitude of disobedience—Scripture teaches that it is impossible to "renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame" (Hebrews 6:6).
Truly converted Christians are those to whom God has given the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9). Even converted Christians will sin—but they are committed to repenting always. They need a repentant attitude of mind, always looking forward to changing their behavior and attitude, even if they feel too weak to do so just yet. God is patient, but we need to respond to that patience because the time is growing short. Always desire repentance. Always desire to change your life for good even if, through weakness, you give in to temptation. Ask God for a spirit of repentance!
Are the billions of non-Christians who have lived and died—perhaps your friends and relatives who were never converted—all lost? Did they all commit the unpardonable sin? The good news is that there is hope for them. God allows many to be blinded to the truth in this age, so they will not commit the unpardonable sin. Notice what the Apostle Paul writes about those who are unconverted—those who are disobedient. "For God has committed them all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all" (Romans 11:32). After Jesus Christ returns, He will expand the process of offering salvation to all mankind. Everyone who lives during the 1,000 years immediately after He returns will receive the opportunity to accept the gift of eternal life available through Christ.
At the end of the Millennium will come a physical resurrection of all who did not receive the calling to salvation during their lifetimes. Then they, too, will have the opportunity to receive that gift of eternal life and be judged by their righteous works. However, God will mercifully destroy those who choose to defy Him, knowingly refusing to accept Jesus Christ's sacrifice and follow God's way of life.
