I personally don't follow any organized religion anymore but isn't Wicca just about control. Everyone I've ever known to be Wiccan is deeply depressed, cuts or self-injures, and feels the need to control things. Is that what that "religion" is supposed be about or do these people have it wrong? My stepdaughter thinks she the greatest because when she takes a candle flame between her thumb and forefinger she can move the flame....well who can't do that. She honestly believes she's in control of the fire. And the spells and potions. someone please help me try to understand this.....

To feed the hungry
To tend the naked and cold
To shelter the homeless
To care for the dying and old.
These are our tasks.
God gives us each day.
Let us always remember
And be on our way.
Love all as brothers
Let no one be alone.
Let us care for each other
Until God calls us home.
The only jewels
We keep are our love.
So hold fast to charity.
A gift from above

Some one quoted on TV that Manu Dharam tells to chop the hands of untouchables if they read vedas. What is the purpose of vedas if others do not read them?

Simple question. Oh, and yes, there is proof. No need
for details here. We all know where you can go, to find
out.... The point is do you believe, in the existence
of Christ ? You admire past historical heros, and leaders.
Like George Washington, and Abe Lincoln. Winston
Churchill. Mother Theresa, and The Pope. So, I have
a legitimate question here. Best answer wins. ~~~

The Christian god is jealous and punishes non-believers. He doesn't sound like a very nice guy. Why would you want to have anything to do with someone so cruel?

In the past, most Christians followed church teachings from the Bible that all humans must sleep (dead) in the dust of the ground, or in an urn of ashes, until the Return of Jesus to Judge the world and raise up only the elect -chosen -saved humans.

Today, most Christians believe that our dead, beloved human relatives and friends, especially sincere Christians, will ascend immediately, or on the third day, or at each 1000 year (millennial) Dispensation of Jesus' love and grace.

Which is correct? Why ? How sure are you ?

The dying, repentant thief on a cross next to the cross of Jesus was taken up that day into the highest Heaven (Paradise) and he was not even baptized in water !

Read now carefully John 12:31-32

Are the many thousands of testimonies -- of being taken up into Heaven by Jesus, and seeing their departed, ascended loved ones, that spiritual visionary humans, and some having near-death experiences, have reported -- all fake ? or real ?

Thank you !

Dear Children,

It has come to my attention that many of you are upset because of what you think of as taking my name out of the winter holiday season.

Maybe you've forgotten that I wasn't actually born during this time of the year and that it was some of your predecessors who decided to celebrate my birthday on what was actually a time of pagan festivals. Although I do appreciate being remembered any time, I don’t appreciate you turning this into a season to fight with other people or become self-righteous. Remember what I said about that? Remember what I said about being humble?

How I personally feel about this occasion can probably be best understood by those of you who have been blessed with children of your own....

Why is the answer that alot of religious people give always something like god did, or its gods will.Isn't giving an answer of god did it basically an easy way of saying i don't know and don't want to find out but i don't want to look uneducated. It seems like people are getting to the point were they feel they shouldn't try to understand anything about the world or life because in their minds it is explained by saying "god did it",which gives no explanation at all.

For the religious types on here when confronted with a difficult question about things that you don't understan or can't explain do you tend to use the default answer of "god did it"

That is the basics of the NWO (new world order)
The new world order is either a conspiricy or truth, those are the two options, now it would make an amazing movie, and it is very scary.
I am not sure if it is true but tend to lean towards the side of thinking it is. Very probable also, and its outward signs show that it is everywhere.
I DO NOT THINK THIS IS A SIGN OF THE END TIMES.
I am just asking your opinions on whether or not you think this sort of think COULD be happening.

AGAIN - MY QUESTION IS!!!!! -
Do you think this sort of thing could be happening?
^^^ Answer that question.

Thank you for your opinions.

Comeon its hilarious that people , even well educated people sometimes, in the 21st Century believe in creationism. "because its written in the bilble" come on people think about it! The bible was written over a period of centuries by many different people who didnt have any scientific answers so made up stories.

Its good to have 'faith', i have faith in a higher being of somekind, call it god, call it the spagettii monster or whatever.

Its like some people have forgotten the ability to reason or think for themselves!

People killed and burned colleagues and friends who lived together 30 years. If your religion teaches such things, don't you think it is the time to revise your faith.

I don't understand what is so bad about believing in God! Really, I just don't understand! Concepts of who God can be are countless! I have heard no one who believes in God ever express how bad God is (...yes God can make me angry) but is not the good of the Universe "God's" goal? Just for the sake of knowing, what good comes out of NOT believing in God?? I don't understand...

Romney said Jesus is his savior -- does that mean Jesus is the messiah?

I read that Mormons don't believe in the trinity. Is that true? Do they believe that Jesus is divine?

I was told that Jews are not condemed to eternal torment. Is that because Mormons have been Baptising them after death?

I'm simply curious -- please no lengthy explanations.

Those who don't "believe" Mormons are Christians need not respond. You'll get a thumbs-down. Please let the Mormons answer for themselves!
