The Christian god is jealous and punishes non-believers. He doesn't sound like a very nice guy. Why would you want to have anything to do with someone so cruel?

"Seek and ye shall find"!!!

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.
As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.
They talked about so many things and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said:

'I don't believe that God exists.'

'Why do you say that?' asked the customer. 'Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist.
Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children?

If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain.
I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things.'

The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument.
The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop.

Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard.
He looked dirty and unkempt. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber:
'You know what? Barbers do not exist.' 'How can you say that?' asked the surprised barber.
'I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!'
'No!' the customer exclaimed. 'Barbers don't exist because
if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside.'

'Ah, but barbers DO exist! That's what happens when people do not come to me.'

'Exactly!' affirmed the customer. 'That's the point! God, too, DOES exist!
That's what happens when people do not go to Him and don't look to Him for help.
That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world.'

This is the great deceiver, "I am that I am", it is not God the Father, it is the god of Moses, for when the devil took Moses to his mountain "of sin", Moses wanted the promised land, and the glory therein, so he had the Hebrews bow down and worship the serpent (the devil) and those who would not worship the devil died, they died because they knew the truth, which was "The Word of God" and the testimony of the Christ as was written in their hearts, not on stone as the devil did.

Those who worshiped Satan (the serpent) lived, but their spirits were cast into hell. Those 3000 that Moses killed also would not bow down and worship the devil (the serpent).

The god of Moses put hatered into the hearts of men so that they would kill one another, and the serpent could claim their spirits, for his own.

Jesus came to bring us the truth, and He wrote about Moses and the prophets in the Gospels and in Revelation 13.

But the Christians, do not want to lose their nation nor riches, so they still worship Satan, the giver of the 10 commandments and the 613 laws. They deceive you by mixing lies with truth, which they learned from their father.

I tell you truth, all words in the bible are not inspired by God the Father, Judge them and the things you do by the fruit. Good is good and evil is evil, do not make good evil and evil good, so that you may keep the things given to you by Satan.

And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them:

for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Luke 4:5-8

Moses wanted the things that the devil offered, and pay the price.

A parable: There is the story of the gambler who plays cards every week, knowing that the dealer fixes the deck. When asked why he would play cards with a dealer who uses a stacked deck every week, the gambler answered: "It's the only game in town."

I think a lot of people have been raised to worry about God's wrath and haven't considered that maybe they don't have to - that jealousy and rage aren't necessarily attractive traits upon which to build a faith. But for the time being, God is "the only game in town" for them too.

If there is a god that we hope there is, then I would also hope that jealousy and rage are beneath Her.

John 3:I6 God Wants you to accept His Son, Jesus! He Paid a Horrific Price for Us, and Took Our Place on the Cross so we can all live with Him throughout Eternity in Heaven. That is Unconditional LOVE. A very wonderful God, Our Father.
In John 3:I6, God gave us a CHOICE. May God Bless you and soften You Heart, and Open your Eyes to His Wondrous Love.......Jeremiah 33:3

If you allowed your son to be killed to save the whole world, but people chose to ignore what you were willing to sacrifice, you would probably punish such unwise people. God deserves to be worshipped. Everything you are and have came from God and He hates the fact that man worships "the creature instead of the Creator." God would like you to worship Him. But that's not for His own sake. God created you and He knows what will make you happy more than you do.

You have given an excellent example of how to twist a simple truth into a virtual lie. God doesn't punish anyone. You make your own choice. Get aboard the cruise ship, or try to swim to Anchorage, Alaska on your own. But don't blame the cruise ship's captain for not grabbing you against your will and draggng you on board.

Why is it that when a man stands up and makes promises to make life better everyone is ready, willing, and able to follow him. Despite the fact that no man has, in the history of men, ever been able to solve anyones problems. However, God- who created all things gives advice to His creation on the best way of living-everyone freaks out? Man-government makes laws and everyone follows. If someone breaks the law and is punished by fine or imprisonment that's justice, but when God creates laws for the benefit of man-everyone freaks out? If you purchase a new car and problems occur, you take it to the dealer or creator because they are experts. Would you take it to the bakery or stock broker or even take their advice over the manufacturer? No! God is our Creator, and He has written the Bible as a guide to the best way to live. For our benefit, no His. He doesn't force anyone to follow His advise, but like man's laws. There are consequences for not taking His advise. Just like universal laws-gravity for instance. If you just off the roof of the empire state building-you die. Why? You broke the law of gravity and those are the consequences... That's not cruelty on anyones part. It's stupity on your part for not obeying that law. Simple...

It aint that simple.. you see, there are a lot of people who dont worship him yet live good lives. and why do bad things happen to good people? even believers? see, its just how you portray him to be.. everyone is open to their own faith.. christians believe that He is the source of blessings in their lives and they experience it in their own way. some simply resent the idea of having a God or has a bad view on God so if anything bad happens, they blame God. quote: the worste thing for an atheist is when he is so thankful for something and has no one to thank.. :)

ALL have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God- and the wages of sin is death, BUT the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord- what we have to remember is that if we all got what we deserve we would all be punished with eternity in hell- however what God did should show how much He loves us- He is God, and there must be payment for sin- so instead of giving us what we deserve- He gave His Son for us. He died on the cross so that we could have a personal relationship with Him- that is how much He loves us- cruel? Yeah, for Christ, He died a cruel death that gave us life= Look at it, not from our sinful eyes, but throught the eyes of God and all you will see is love.

That god is a figment of the imagination of some fundamentalists. We do well to ignore them to the best of our ability.

The real God will not punish anybody for not "worshipping" Him. In fact, He doesn't want "worship" at all unless it is predicated on love.

All He wants is for us to love Him and each other.
