I meditate daily as spiritual practice along with daily yoga. It has brought much joy to my life. I have a 3 year old that loves to practice yoga with me, but my wife draws the line with the meditation aspect saying its too early. I feel one compliments the other, but for the sake of household peace, I respect her position. I look forward to the public response on this issue.
I think her objection lies with her first and only experience going to a Christian church. Speaking in toungs and flopping on the floor left her with the opinion that anything related to spirituality is wack.
Perhaps I am at fault, as I have made the statement this is the closest I have to a religion.

I mean the Gods in religions.

Is there any differences between the love of Atheists and Agnostics to the love of people with religion?

Do you think God is the source of love or do you think humans are pure love?

Are humans able to obtain the highest feeling of love without Gods of religions?

So what makes you have hope and see brighter futures for us all if there is no God to you??? What do you have faith in. Let me define it here.
Faith: ability to believe in and evidence of things unseen.

Like what gives you faith that when you drive to Boston from California that you are going to get there? You can't see Boston from California, so what gives you faith to follow a piece of paper with lines and squiggles on it and think you'll get there? Seriously, this is not sarcastic. I'm curious about what keeps that inner spark burning bright within you, if it isn't God, what is it???

I'm 25 and a proud V card member but I'm having such a hard time staying that way it seems nowadays no one appreciates celibacy or virginity. I prefer to wait but it's getting too hard as time goes by. I don't know if I can hold out till marriage since I've been single and my body is craving it horribly.
So at the end of the day is it worth it to stay a virgin?

I'm curious because, according to many, if not most of the Christian denominations, not many people will receive heaven - Christians included.

It seems that the majority of wars, conflicts and terrorist attacks in history (like 9-11) have been caused by conflicting religious views. Do you think religion is harmful to society? I do

"How is it that hardly any major religion has looked at science and concluded, 'This is better than we thought! The Universe is much bigger than our prophets said, grander, more subtle, more elegant'? Instead they say, 'No, no, no! My god is a little god, and I want him to stay that way.' A religion, old or new, that stressed the magnificence of the Universe as revealed by modern science might be able to draw forth reserves of reverence and awe hardly tapped by the conventional faiths."

I don't understand how people constantly cut down REAL Christians and lump them all with the ones that judge people. I'm very offended that I don't get the honest chance to prove myself and am wrote off because I believe Jesus is my Saviour! I've met really rude Christians and Athiests, Muslims, Wiccans and people of all creeds but I don't cut them down or discount them because I disagree with them. If I have the right to do and say as I please why can't anyone who is so outspoken about Christian hatefulness be ok with that if that means I am Christian? You don't want me to judge you but you do the same? Yes it is wrong to belittle someone for any reason. Yes it is wrong to make someone feel bad for a belief or unbelief system. Yes it is wrong to harass or make fun of someone for being and believing whatever it is they believe. Religious freedom is the right to have a religion the way you choose and I'm sorry but the Christian bashing sounds like a new form. How can you justify it?

People in America are scared of atheism. We hear the Golden compass was written by an atheist and get really nervous. So what are your thoughts on Atheism and the new risky movie, the Golden Compass?

Ok.. let me get this straight. The Word of God says we were created with Human bodies that are designed to live forever. Science has recently proven that if we were to learn something new every second, we would take well over 3 millions years to exhaust the memory capacity of our "post flood" brains. (Pre-flood brains were 3 times larger) On the other hand... Evolutionists say things evolve after there is a need for change.

How is it possible for us to have a brain that could hold enough info to last over 3 millions years, when all we can live up to is 90 years?
