Many skeptics have claimed that, for Cain to find a wife, there must have been other "races" of people on the earth who were not descendants of Adam & Eve. Do you think there were? If so, who were they? Why is this a stumbling block for many people to accept the creation account in Genesis and its record of only one man and woman with the beginning of history. Is there an answer? Is the reason mentined in the Bible?

Because I am athesist and I personally do not like being, "Under God We Stand". I mean seriously, what if you don't believe in God? I thought school and religon aren't supposd to mix. My friend and I both don't say that part but we still think it should change. Because would't that be like religous discrimination or something?

Comment are welcome.
(so are debates...)

I know a lot of religious people vote republican simply because they oppose abortion... is that the ONLY thing that you look at (if this applies to you)? Abortions are going to happen whether they are in a clinic OR in the back of an ally. Isn't it up to us, as Americans, to educate people in this area instead of making everything illegal? Just wondering your thoughts :)

87:6-7 We shall make you to recite (the Qur'ân), so you (O Muhammad) shall not forget (it), Except what Allâh, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden.

And there are hadiths where Muhammad admits he forgot about such-and-such a verse, such as:

Sahih al-Bukhari: book 61, volume 6

556. Narrated Aisha: The Prophet heard a man reciting the Qur'an in the mosque and said, "May Allah bestow His Mercy on him, as he has reminded me of such-and-such Verses of such a Surah."

Volume 6, Book 61, Number 558:
Narrated Aisha:

Allah's Apostle heard a man reciting the Qur'an at night, and said, "May Allah bestow His Mercy on him, as he has reminded me of such-and-such Verses of such-and-such Suras, which I was caused to forget."

Do you think it's possible he forgot other things and didn't get reminded?

Have a great night.

Can people NOT figure out for themselves there is no super-duper invisible guy and his enemies interfering with their life and the lives of others? Can they not see that the god of the bible cannot exist because a god that tortures people is a disturbed personality type....maybe worse than "satan" because he has so much power? The god I imagine would never torture anything. He would just say "Vamoosh!" and the being wouldn't exist anymore. I guess you have to threaten people with a torturous god to get them to behave properly. Anyway, have a good night. -Agnostic

I contend that Scriptures cannot be reconciled with the Calvinist inspired belief in OSAS. OSAS is certainly a doctrine from hell saying that one cannot fall away from the faith regardless of their sinfulness. That all that is required is a one time emotional recognition of Christ and they are forever justified, sanctified and saved for all eternity. They can remain sinful creatures in reality but Christ’s blood will cover that sin so that they can be smuggled into heaven as a dirty sinful soul. Yet the person who is not a sinful person has no.......
