87:6-7 We shall make you to recite (the Qur'ân), so you (O Muhammad) shall not forget (it), Except what Allâh, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden.

And there are hadiths where Muhammad admits he forgot about such-and-such a verse, such as:

Sahih al-Bukhari: book 61, volume 6

556. Narrated Aisha: The Prophet heard a man reciting the Qur'an in the mosque and said, "May Allah bestow His Mercy on him, as he has reminded me of such-and-such Verses of such a Surah."

Volume 6, Book 61, Number 558:
Narrated Aisha:

Allah's Apostle heard a man reciting the Qur'an at night, and said, "May Allah bestow His Mercy on him, as he has reminded me of such-and-such Verses of such-and-such Suras, which I was caused to forget."

Do you think it's possible he forgot other things and didn't get reminded?

Have a great night.

Yup. He forgot to say, "Oh, and one more thing. Jesus is God in the flesh."

Darn that amnesia. The lives lost because of one simple sentence that was forgotten.

He did hint it out, though: Since Jesus is a prophet according to Islam, and since the Quran states that prophets cannot lie, then,

John 10:30 - "I and my Father are one" - MUST be true.

Which of the very many VERSIONS of the koran (in arabic) are you making reference to?

Oh, and if anyone, for a moment, believes that the koran has remained completely unchanged "even to a dot" for the past 1400 years ("oh, what a miracle!"), you only need to take about two minutes of google time to see the ERROR of your position.

God's messenger (pbuh) was a human being, just like you and I. That's something that non-Muslims don't fully understand, and respect...

Contrary to what Islam-illiterate westerners think, unlike Jesus in Christianity, Muhammad (pbuh) is NOT worshiped in Islam (because only Allah (swt) is worthy of worship), but instead, highly loved and revered because he was chosen by Allah (swt) to deliver His message, a task that by all means, was a heavy and extremely important one...

In the Name of God, The Beneficent, The Merciful

1. O thou folded in garments!
2. Stand (to prayer) by night, but not all night,-
3. Half of it,- or a little less,
4. Or a little more; and recite the Qur'an in slow, measured rhythmic tones.
5. Soon shall We send down to thee a weighty Message.

No disrespect to my Muslim Brothers, but really, to mention
the Koran and the word accurate in the same sentance, is
by any other word an oxymoron. Sorry, but there you are.

and by the way what is in quran which you cannot be sure to believe or not.

it says that god is one, every believer knows that.
mohammed is his messenger, no one agrees with it except muslims.
give alms to poor, every believer knows that its god intention.

every thing else in quran is for sure totally sh*t. So, i think there is nothing to talk about islam as a belief.
