theft as theft? What are the punishments?

Just saying. If God knows / knew everything, it seems strange that there is no commandment stating "thou shalt not copy another mans intellectual property" or similar. Assuming it's a sin.

There were computers everywhere when the Bible was written, as well as copyright law, so I'm guessing there's something in there somewhere about it, I just can't think of the chapter/verse right now.

In reference to the bible itself, it states at the ending of revelations it says that you cannot add to the prophecies to the book and if you do, the plagues will be on you. ...
AS far as quoting the bible.. it's fine.. as long as you don't take it out of context.

it says to follow the laws of the land that you live in unless it goes against what God says. so it depends on what the copyright laws of your contry say.
