You can't prove a negative, and we don't even know how we can prove god, since religions contradict each other as to what exactly god is. I mean, seriously, what are we searching for, an old man in the sky?

The first answers will get the most thumbs up, so that's not really fair. Besides, once you mentioned, most people will probably start giving thumbs down to everyone else :)

A) Absolutely, I can
Look around you, and everything will give you a proof that God exists; the sky, sea, animals, trees...etc, but the biggest evidence is YOU. Look at your body, and how complicated it is. Look at the galaxies, planets, the universe. Who thinks that this is created by coincidence is insane. When Yuri Gagarin was in the space, he said: "There must be a creator of this universe".

If I told anyone that I was yesterday on the beach and suddenly I saw pieces of wood are coming together, and nail flew to the right position, and a ship created by itself, would anyone will believe me?!

If God does not exist, so, we all should suicide. You know why? because then, there is no reason for us to live!

Quran and the evidence inside it is a proof that God exists. prophets and their unique message over eras is a proof that God exists.

Now, this will be understood only by Arabic speaker: "Alla ma enshaf bel 3a2l en3araf", so, who thinks that God does not exist has a problem in his/her mind - no offense.

Anyone still thinking that God does not exist?!

I can prove that God exist, how ? the following makes me say YES to the existence of God. The sun rise and sun set, God exist,People die and birth of a child, God Exist, Earth quakes, rains, thunderstorms, God Exist, miracles and prays getting fulfilled, God exist.

No person, no one on this earth can do the above. These were just the cores which I have mentioned. God cannot be even compared to anyone. Tell me do you know any person who could do it?

God Exist~!

A) which god are you referring to. If you are referring to the one and only true God, the answer would be yes. All other so-called gods no.
Nature itself speaks of God, the Heavens show off God, the fact you have a consceince says you have a God, but we choose to not believe Him, so no matter how much evidence you have people will not believe

God's existence is something that will never be "proven" one way or another. You either believe in Him or you don't. Consider it a test....... It's easy to fall into the trap of believing that mankind and his intellect are the apex of all that exists.

God could have worked things out to where no belief through faith was needed, but He chose to work in this manner for a purpose.....

1.Yes
2.Yes

Of course you can prove that God exists. Look around you. Look towards the sky and the clouds. Look at the fish in the sea, or the birds in the air. Look at the mountains and jungles. There's proof all around you, you just have to want to see it. Alot of us don't because we don't want to uphold the moral standards upheld by God. Also there are very few if any contradictions in the Bible. The real problem is a lack of understanding and history that surrounds the Bible. Another problem that we face is bringing God down to our level. Its laughable at best. To bring God, the Creator of the ground we're working on, the air we breath, and the water we drink to our level and our understanding is actually very funny when you think about it. But I'm definitely not going to preach about that any further.
You can also prove that God doesn't exist by not accepting the obvious as I mentioned above. We create our own reality, so therefore if you choose to live a life without God, then that's definitely your call and you have every right to do so.
A book that I've read recently has helped me with many questions I've had about God, the state of the world, and even creation. it's called "The Case for faith" by Lee Strobel. That very question your asking I believe is in that book. And if you don't read that book, then do your research. Dig into the theories of creation that's out there, and you'll see how flawed each of them are. Dig deep within yourself as well. Why are you asking that question? Why do you feel its necessary to know? And if you do answer that question then what? Where do you go from there? Whatever you choose, please do your research. "Seek and you shall find", that verse is true whether you believe in God or not.

A) You cannot prove that god exists. Proof implies certainty beyond reasonable doubt, given concrete evidence. There is no concrete existence of god, the only real word we have of His existence is the word of the bible, and what some people wrote in a book thousands of years ago does not constitute proof.

B) You cannot prove god doesn't exist, just the same way you cannot prove that god does exist. Since as of yet, we do not know everything about the universe (and we never will), so there will always be some unexplained element of our lives which can be attributed to God's work. Apart from that, religion is a matter that has always been separate from science, the idea of course being that God is some kind of supreme, omniscient power that controls all of our universe, and is responsible for the creation of every living thing. Obviously some elements of the bible can be disproved, given that we know the earth cannot have been created in 7 days, but that does not mean that elements of the bible are true, or that somewhere there is a God.

God is a state of mind. God is what you choose it to be. Whatever floats your boat. Everybody needs to believe in something, be it oneself, or a higher power.

A) Yes, but no one believes me...
B) No, and everyone agrees me...

This little paradox, to me, defines the question. It does not ask whether God exists, but whether it is proveable. No matter what evidence is presented, for or against God's existence...there will always be true believer and an hardline skeptic. The question of proof is a matter of personal conviction of the person you are attempting to prove it to.

How do I prove it, you might ask? Looking at the idea behind love and beauty. When you look at a sunset or something else (other than a person), does it move you? It has no evolutionary purpose, no reason or rhyme to evoking an emotion inside you. Have you ever experienced joy? Your favorite team winning the superbowl or something of that nature? What is this estatic feeling we have when it serves no purpose in life but to make us feel good? to me, that ectasy is evidence of the divine.

for another interpretation, take a look at Deepak Chopra's interpretation

No to both. However, even though you can not completely disprove God's existence, there is an immense amount of evidence against it. It is obvious that humans have created their own religions to form explanations about their existence and the world around them. For instance, the classical Greeks didn't understand what lightning was, so they came up with Zeus to explain it. People didn't want to accept the fact that they would die some day, and instead denied it by coming up with heaven. There is a possibility that one of the religions may have gotten their beliefs right by sheer chance, but as they were invented by humans, it is highly unlikely that this could be so.

Also, people using the Bible as evidence are quite foolish and don't understand its history. It was written by humans to fit their own beliefs. There may have been people crazy enough to actually believe that they were prophets, but then again, people also used to believe that a priestess sticking her head in a volcanic lava tube and inhaling hallucinogenic fumes came out speaking the word of Apollo. Not only that, but the Bible has been rewritten and revised so many times that its validity is very slight. The major one occurred after the Council of Nicea. Before there was any "official" Scriptures, the Church clubbed together and decided to filter out books that contradicted what they wanted to teach. The highest ranking Church members voted on whether they wanted to teach that Jesus was divine and the literal Son of God, or if he was just a very important prophet. It was close, but they decided that Jesus was divine. They then eliminated any book in the Bible that stated different from this. About 40 different Gospels were circulating at the time, but they cut the number down to 27. Any other texts that were found were burned. They also eliminated any Old Testament books that referred to the coming Messiah as a mere human sent by God, and not God himself. The remaining ones underwent serious revision by the Vatican. They had their scholars copy out and translate (poorly) new versions of the Bible. The scribes had to work at such fast paces that these were unavoidable. Some of these mistranslations were so immense that they have completely changed the Christian religion. For instance, the word that was translated as "virgin" that was used to describe Mary would instead be correctly read as meaning "young girl." Nothing in the original Bible claims that Jesus was born of virgin. The entire idea of Immaculate Conception is only inferred from these texts.

On another point, all of the religions claiming they are supporters of peace are hypocritical. Their holy books support violence, slavery, and sexism. They can claim that it is all open to interpretation, but that argument is defeated easily. Their actions all show that they interpret it to mean that they should be violent. Almost every main war that has occurred has in some way been caused, worsened, or supported by religion. An avid Christian once told me that belief in God was far more important than being at peace with others, and that world peace was an illusion created by Satan to turn us from God.

My final argument against religion is the sheer number of people that are "damned" to hell. They all preach that if you do not practice their religion, you will burn in hell or some other kind of awful torment for all of eternity. If this was true, the least number of people possible that would be sent to hell would be over two thirds of the world's population. That is, if Christianity were the one true religion, everyone else would go to hell. If it was Islam or Hinduism, that amount would be even greater. That doesn't sound like God is doing so well with heaven's population.

I respect if other people want to believe in a religion, but everything points to it being false. You can claim you have faith, but please don't try to prove that God exists. You just look foolish.

It's a straight no for both, the only proof we have is faith and evolution! And yet it's not enough to prove god is real. You just have to go with what you truely believe as fact or faith.
:)

Some may believe you can take the bible and say this is proof but you really can't because it's not proved that this actually happened. People can say all of this stuff on tv and church but you really can't say it's real since you don't know if there really was no beginning and there is no end. We can be fake for all you know too.

Evolution on the other hand is the same but as said before you don't know, no one knows, you don't know if this magic ball appeared and a chemical reaction became.

This is how philosophy comes in, we can keep asking these questions but will just have to wait until our end comes near.

You can't cite the Bible as fact, that is a fallacy in of it's self because it begs the question if the bible is true, so when the prove the bible exists then cite it but otherwise shut up and stop quoting the bible. Second, saying I can prove God by going outside and looking at the sky or this and that again shut up, by saying that you prove nothing other than you have eyes. For those of you who say look at the body, yea it took millions of years create so again sush. So You can't prove God exists because no matter what one idiot always says "God is real just look at x or he is real because I have faith" NO Prove it with facts, science and logic. And you can prove God does not exist because all arguments beget what created what so there for something had to create god so he can't exist in our perspective of the word
