They expect new data will show a second similar void in the Southern side. This and other cutting-edge experimental projects s ideas will tell us whether a new era in *cosmological thinking* has indeed arrived
Could this be what the Bible mentions about EVIL?
Evil
In the Bible, "Evil" is the technical term used for Satan's world strategy. ... *Cosmological thinking* says the intuitive law of cause and effect demands the existence of God.

He's omnipotent so he can. Why doesn't he? If you say he can't then you are not a real Christian because a real Christian would think God is omnipotent.

Did cavemen exist? or is it merely a myth?
how do you link cavemen to Adam and Eve and those biblical characters? When I mean link, I meant in terms of the features, life style and so on. Of course, that only applies if you believe in cavemen

This is a question I have been asked recently, and in all honesty I'm not really sure, so I thought I'd throw it out for some input on what you think.
We obviously reject the notion of God based on reason, and empirical scientific data failing to provide us with any proof.

Now when it comes to us as physical human beings we can explain things like attraction, and natural sexual instincts.
But what is love? I and many atheists I know would declare ourselves either in love, or to have been in love at some point. So how do we account for our "belief" in a concept which has no real proof?
The accusation is that love is just a feeling, or a notion, upon which I should not base any sensible thought or action when it can't be proved.
Part of the argument is that what happens when we are in love can be recreated through endorphins/serotonin, even chocolate! If it's just a chemical reaction shouldn't we dismiss love in a similar way to we dismiss faith?

Your thoughts will be appreciated...

This is what I got so far:
"You know God is the same, no matter time or place. He just don't understand that us heathens make mistakes. So to all you Christians all across the land, there's no need to argue God just doesn't understand"

Can you add anything to this potential hit?

Was he (a) clinically insane; (b) an egotistical, pathological liar; or (c) exactly who He said He was: the Son of God.

"The basic principles of logic dictate that a statement cannot be both true and false at the same time (the law of contradiction) and that a statement must be either true or false (the law of excluded middle)." (walking through the wardrobe)

Was jesus not supposedly a living human? Was he not supposedly a educated individual? If jesus was the sun of god and thus perfect why did he not write his own word? And thus be sure people get his version and not what someone else says he said. How can you still believe this nonsense?

i wonder if all the christians who are staging boycotts against the movie the golded compass, and going on national news networks to promote this boycott realize that they're generating more buzz for this movie than any of the previews. i remember seeing a trailer for this movie and just thinking it was just another kiddy flick that i had no interest in watching. i had no idea it was about promoting atheist until i heard some extreme christian group on fox news talking about how they were going to boycott the movie. now i want to watch it. it's actually becoming one of the most talked about movies of the year. way to go fundies. nothing like a boycott to give a movie some free publicity. if this movie should happen to become number one at the box office, will you be kicking yourselves?

Do you believe that you can have disagreements on topics such as evolution/intelligent design and still be a Christian if you believe Jesus is the way to salvation?

Or do you feel that you must take everything literally within the Bible to be truly saved?

This arose through a discussion I had over the weekend with a friend on differences in Christian sects.

2 nights ago I was just sitting and thinking about life. I just felt like something was missing and I guess you could say I started to pray and ask God for help. I did not grow up all religious or anything but do believe there has got to be a God. Iv'e heard people say Jesus is God so I talked to him. When I started talking this peace or love like I never felt before started to do something in me. I feel like a different person. Has anything like this ever happened to anyone on here? I started to read the Bible and I can't put it down. I tried to read it before but gave up everytime. Even as I am typing I feel a joy that I can't explain. What the heck is happening? I mean, I like what's happening but could someone help explain.

Since Jesus Christ is suppose to enter the east gate in the 2nd coming?
President Bush read a joint Israeli-Palestinian declaration in which both countries agreed to create a Palestinian state on the ground before Bush leaves office in January 2009.

The declaration did not recognize Israel as a Jewish state in spite of intense negotiations the past few weeks for the Palestinians to agree to such a clause.

Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert are to meet biweekly, with implementation of commitments monitored by the U.S., according to the declaration.

After Bush's address, Abbas called for a Palestinian state to be established with its capital in Jerusalem.
He alluded to Palestinian control over the Temple Mount – Judaism's holiest site.

"We need EAST Jerusalem to be our capital and to access our holy shrines," said Abbas

Azal - is the Eastern gate
