'How any one could doubt that is beyond me!
To date we have a couple of choices:-
In the beginning there was God etc etc, Adam and Eve were then popped into the picture, the Devil in the form of a snake came along, and so on! All this was sorted in 6 days, then because it was Sunday God had a day off, it had been a very busy week!
That is one choice, do you believe that?
The other of course is the 'theory' of evolution, which has not been proved, hence the theory bit.
Little creepy sluggy things came out of the water, they only had one brain cell, so because they were a bit stupid it took them a bit longer than 6 days to change into mankind! I don't recall reading any place about them having Sundays off?
As far as I know in this evolution idea there is one missing link that should tie it all up!
So when and if it is found , will folk stop believing in the bible?
I think not the story of Adam and Eve will become a parable, not meant to be taken as fact but merely a story to 'prove' how great God is.
Take your choice?

Yes, Animals came first before man. Most likely the larger the better as plant life given days and years even when time with God already had existed. So for ages plant life had been, then animals day five and six [ day, with God is ages, eons and eras ], is a long period of time, so animals were needed in the preparation of earth to deal with all the enormous amount of plant life.

It depends on what you believe. If you're Christian then it says that animals were created first then humans, but that was only in a short space of time. If you believe in evolution then scientist have found that dinosaurs were around millions of years before humans. I believe in evolution myself.

Yes, whether you believe the Bible, or you believe in the theory of evolution, both show that animals were around before man.

Are you kidding? You must be in third grade or lower to even ask a question like that. Life began on earth more than three billion years ago, and for the next 2.4 billion years remained single-celled. Something happened (suddenly, in geological terms) then that started the reign of multicellular organisms, which quickly spread and evolved around the planet to become the fantastic diversity we have today. Humans are only a small part of this explosion of variety, being a very new species only a few hundred thousand years old.

The bible is not clear on the order of creation. There are two different stories.
Genesis 1 says that animals were made before man.
Genesis 2 says that animals were made after man.

Well, if you beleive that we were simply placed here by a supererior being, to populate this planet and run it into the ground, i can not dispute the evidence thus far that has been produced to think otherwise.
I mean, 6 days is a long time when you think about it. Good thing he rested on the 7th day.

2nd Land animals and man [Gen. 1:24-26] on the sixth day.
