Matthew 5:29, 30 and 18:8, 9. They are "hellfire" proof texts and no they don't mean to literally do that. It is not the body parts that sin, but the wrong ideas of the mind. Obviously, people will not live forever as evil persons without eyes, limbs, etc. Spirits don't even have those fleshly parts.
Muslims really do this in many countries though. Cutting off a hand for one theft, other hand for a second, death for third offense, etc.

Matthew 5:29
If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.
Mark 9:47
And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell,
These verses are not Literal but they do stress a point how its better to go to heaven blind, then to go to hell whole Im a bible college student by the way.

Matthew 5:28 & 29 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. And if they right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Get a Bible with a concordance, and look up 'hand that sins' and you should find the verse and book you want. I know it's in the New Testament, but am not at all sure which book and verse, and I think that you should be able to look it up yourself, so that you can do that instead of having to ask on Y!A.
