Even if I was Christian, I'd have an impossible time putting anything -- be it God, Jesus or faith above such simple acts of real "in the flesh" acts of love and kindness.

but it's not OK for me to reciprocate by stating the obviously about a believers God Delusion or calling his/her deity a Sky Fairy (which I am always respectful enough to capitalize to denote it is THE Sky Fairy and not just any sky fairy)?

No true Christian would do anything to bring shame to or make god feel angry or sadden him.

However the Bible also says the if someone harms one of his people it is like "touching my eyeball", a situation that would make god angry at those bringing the harm and saddened at the harm that had been done to one of his people. It is also states in the Bible that Christians must love their neighbour wether they are Christians or not and that Christians must also display themselves as Christians, like the tale good Samaritan.

Therefore, is not a Christian who stands around and allows an injustice just as guilty as the person committing the injustice in gods eyes? Further, if this is a sin should it not be regarded as one, instead of the lack lustre 'well its only a semi-bad thing' that it is treated as now?

Thanks.

PS - This is not an meant to be an attack on Christians, I would regard myself as Christian, it is a question about the way things are thought of in this world.

According to a Christian minister on youtube, yes. He was talking about sinners and so on...

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=nG6yvpOOOfI#-8rkVAKlG7E

The last comment is me (laswap1) and he replied to it, i simply asked about not believing, and I asked does god hate me? He simply said yes.. it really makes me wonder how on earth can that religion stand for love and peace.. Anyone willing to give a few bible quotes saying otherwise

Way before Jesus was born, there were 3 individuals people looked at as gods. interestingly enough all these 3 gods were born to a VIRGIN in a cave, who claimed they were all gods children, and get this, all three were crucified and had a terrible deaths, tortured and after their deaths they were all ressurected and taken by their father into heaven. What a coincidence, dont you see christians all these stories are copied. These gods were Dionysus/Bacchus186 BCE, OsirisC. 3000 BCE and Horus, Tammuz 2000 BCE do the research. I doubt alot of christians will answer my question!!

but knew, in advance, everything that was going to happen every moment of every day, how would you cope?

would you tell thousands of white lies (and lies of omission) each day just to "blend in"?

So, how did Jesus do it?

Think about this, George Bush has enough power to destroy this planet, according to the bible god created in 7days and is the center of the universe in which the sun rotates around. Bush has enough amo to destroy Planet Earth 7 times. I bet jesus never possesed that kind of power. Bush can destroy this planet in couple of days, even god needed 7 days to create it.

Do you attempt to force others into believing the "weird stuff" you believe?
Or, is it more likely that you honor the earth, all living things, your ancestors and accept all positive paths as valid for the adherent?
Is it also more likely that you don't proselytize as you know this path isn't right for everyone?
Just curious.

A lot of (not all) Christians condemn homosexuals for their sordid sexual activities. When they hear the word gay, they automatically think of sex so who are the sordid ones with sex on their minds? The first thing I think of if I hear the word gay is love. It may be love for the same gender but it's still love.

Also, without referencing the bible... what is wrong with being gay? Using your actual reasoning skills... what harm does loving someone of the same gender cause?

The bible has many sins which people choose to ignore like wearing clothes of 2 different materials and growing 2 different crops in the same field. Why is it ok to ignore these 'sins' but then claim homosexuality is so wrong? What actual harm does it cause to love someone of the same gender?
