http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=nG6yvpOOOfI#-8rkVAKlG7E

The last comment is me (laswap1) and he replied to it, i simply asked about not believing, and I asked does god hate me? He simply said yes.. it really makes me wonder how on earth can that religion stand for love and peace.. Anyone willing to give a few bible quotes saying otherwise

As I watched the video I got the sense that this man is midguided in the notion that God hates the person (sinner), referring to homosexuals, adulterers, liars, feminists, etc. God hates the SIN, not the sinner. He wants us to trun away from the sin, repent, and come to Him washed in the blood of Christ, with open hearts as would children. If God hated the sinner none would or could be saved.

no God does not hate you!!! he loves you!
John 3:16, for God so loved the world (that includes you) that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes should not perish but have everlasting life.

John 15:9
"As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.

Romans 8:39
neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The list goes on and on I could give you more references but it might be better for you to see for yourself go to the yahoo search engine type in free on-line bible click on a christian bible,( not Mormon) and search love.

No, God does not hate you. God hates sin and sinfulness. Disbelief is not a sin, although it could be borne of man's sinful state.

God is love, in its' purest aspect. This is why Christians (should) stand for love and peace. Many, unfortunately, don't quite get this.

These verses provide some insight into the will of God and his character--

He insists on love (in thought, action, and speech)--

Mark 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. (See also Mark 12:30-31 for context)

Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Colossians 4:6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

Titus 2:8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

What he does for us, he expects us to do for others--

Luke 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Forgiveness is a very major issue with him--

Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

He expects us to demonstrate exemplary behavior in our lives and loving action towards others--

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

We are to pursue peacefulness--

Mark 9:50 ...have peace one with another.

Romans 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

Romans 14:19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Some of the things God hates--

Colossians 3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

The things God commands us to do and be are what a person should observe in Christians. Anything less should be unacceptable to us, since Christians are supposed to reflect God by being the light of the world.

Hope I helped. If you have any other questions, feel free to email me.

God bless you.

No.

God doesn't love or hate anything. That's because God doesn't really exist. That Christian minister believes in old superstitions. It doesn't really matter what he says about sinners, because sin is an outdated concept. Morality is much more than lists of rules created by 2000 year old zealots living in a primitive patriarchal bigoted slave owning society.

Yes, this man may be hateful - but does that make it true of the millions of others in the faith or true of the essence of the faith? I don't think so. In every walk of life there are those who get it wrong - that is part of being human.

Peace!

I believe in higher powers, and I refuse to believe in a god that would hate me or you. Simply, if god hated you, you wouldn't have been created. Stick to your own beliefs and dont let others bother you, some think that they know everything, when in fact they're so unhappy and lost.

I would say that God hates anyone he created so weak that they were worried about whether God hated them or not.

Probably. He hates me and the rest of humanity, too.

Watch there be another flood on 2012.

God did it.

The confusion is everyone THINKS they are God's child. God has one begotten son, Jesus Christ. The rest of us are children of the devil. God will adopt us if we repent of our sin and accept His son.
