Everyone? everyone? There do seem to be a lot of questions that start off "Why do all you Christians..." or "If all you Atherists..." which is pretty poorly informed. I think things like "Why do theists...." get even sillier and lots of those "questions" are really just rants to incite some commentary, and sometimes the asker's rating indicates they do not believe in the question anyway, they wanted the responses!

fear of having the question revoked because of upsetting someone who can not allow others to express themselves and their ideals. No one wants to put up with a tirade of religious ranting, or the often times uneducated ramblings of someone who really does not know what atheism is all about. BTW, hypocrisy and irony are very far from one another, better to have a firm grasp of irony than to be a hypocrite...

I don't think it's ironic. It's more like moronic. Now that's sarcasm.
Blanket questions are good. If you can ask divergent groups the same question, the answers should be interesting.
However, your questions are probably more interesting than the answers and the answers typically don’t really answer the question.

athiest prefer electric blankets
they're proved by science and have more warmth than the average by the science update
christians choose quilts and assume they are more powerful even with no proof and mixups that it is proven less warm than an electric blanket in many ways

Blanket questions? Gross injustice of stereotypical observations maybe. I never felt a blanket yet!

Perhaps they are more open-minded? To use a blanket question it is more inclusive than narrowing the response field.

Well, for the atheists it would be an electric blanket. More scientific.

Because you, alone among of all mankind, are perfect. Or nearly, barring that "excpet me," thing.

5 out of 10 atheists are half of it....
The only thing I needed in order to be perfect was modesty...
Now I'm even modest, which makes me perfect....
