Honestly, I was not born as a Christian and even mocked God.

Later when I moved to a Seventh Day Adventist school I still didn't believe in God. Howevver, there was an incident where I lost the term fee reciept so I prayed to God to help me since I can't lose this reciet. I end up not needing that reciept so I convinced myself God was real.

Eventually I got a grip of myself and questioned the religion and finally came to a conclusion that Christianity and every other religion is man-made.

Christians, you should understand that we Atheists do not choose to turn away from God. We are just being honest to our feelings. We can pretend to believe in God but the simple fact is that we just don't.

Believing in God was never a choice my friends.

It is your conscience and feelings that determines your belief.

Atheists don't and can't believe in God since we have common sense and logic in our senses.

Try to understand this Christians.

Today I asked my children "how many days until December?". The four year old shouted out "twenty" (obviously incorrect) the same time as my six year old responded "twelve" (quite correct).

If I link together December Twenty-Twelve, can the prognostications of two of my children be considered divine?

How can I profit from this? Any ideas?

Not everyone is Christian. In fact paganism and Islam and even more so atheism, is on the rise. Where do you think the converts are coming from? So what exactly did God "win"? And I'm only be half sarcastic. I'm seriously wondering.

probably not. then why do people thank 'god' when they are cured of a disease, without acknowledging that god is obviously the cause of said disease?

I know that HE died for all our sins and that taking ur own life is the same as murder, But I have a big question about it!!! My sister took her life in 2004 nov.22nd.. If He died for our sins wouldnt that be forgiven? I know that it is against the bible And Against God but would My sister still get to go to heaven or to the other place she was a really great person all her life and didnt do much more then the normal things wrong in life Ticket for speeding tried drugs once when she was young and She was baptised and went to church but then she was proved to be Severely Bi-polar and she was taking her meds..( which she said made her feel like she couldnt function and she quit takin them.. would God forgive her this one sin even though it was major and let her be with him???

I am not trying to start an argumentative topic. I am looking for some understanding.
1) Where you raised in a religious home?
2) Is anyone else in your home an Atheist?
3) At what point did you become an Atheist?
4) Do Atheist believe in any higher power at all?

Lets look at this real quick. He got paid the 30 silver but didn't really get much time to spend it. He was Jesus' right hand so who better than him would Jesus turn to help turn himself in. Yeah he questioned somethings but you can question and still have faith. Or at least thats what I've been told.

I know that he used to work for Human Life International, but seems to have resigned (or been fired) under a cloud of suspicion about finances. Does anyone know anything more about it or about him?

This is related to my last question regarding satan's fall from heaven from jealousy, pride, and the like.

This question assumes there is free will in heaven and assumes we, as humans, will still have free will thus be susceptible to temptations.

I really don't. I find it hard to believe that people get what they deserve.

I went to a store today and at the registers there was this guy with really bad OCD. He didn't want to see any pens or rubber bands anywhere... it looked like he was having such a hard time just buying something. His obsessive compulsive disorder was really bad... and he even said that he had OCD. He kept apologizing to the cashier... "I'm sorry, I have OCD. I'm sorry". A lot of people behind him were laughing. I felt so bad.

I don't believe in karma, really. It seems like a naive thing to believe in.
