Yes, Roman Catholic.
No. I don't think I even met an atheist growing up.
I didn't believe in God even as a child, going to Catholic Church.
No, they do not believe in any God or gods.
I am also a Buddhist, which also doesn't require believing in any higher power. Contrary to popular belief, Buddha is not a god.

I am Atheist.
1) I was raised Roman Catholic
2) No one else in my childhood home was Atheist, but now, my husband and I are both Atheist. And the children are being taught about all religions/beliefs so when they are older they can make the decision for themselves.
3) I started to have doubts while in Highschool, but a college education is what sealed the deal for me.
4) Atheist do not believe in any higher power at all.

I am currently being raised in a rather pseudo-religious home. No one else in my family is an Atheist, though there is a Hindu here or there. I became an Atheist at the age of twelve, when Christianity just stopped making sense. And I don't believe in any higher power in the least.

Yes I was born in a devoutly religious family . One of six brothers came to the same conclusion . I've held doubts later confirmed since I was a child in about the fourth grade . My beliefs of atheism solidified some twenty years down the road . And I can only speak for my self as an atheist that I don't hold belief in any higher power other than the sometimes higher mind of more brilliant individuals on this planet to date.

1.) Yes, my parents are both Christians, although not devout.
2.) Yes, my brother and I.
3.) We both became atheists about the same time, around 10 years old (he's 2 years older than me). We were taught biology and hated the pompous assholes that we were forced to socialize with at church services and study groups. If that was religion, we wanted no part of it; that was the beginning of the end for us, and we realized that religion produced more questions than answers (so does science, but religion makes no attempt to answer the unanswered).
4.) I do not believe in any higher power beyond the limits set by the physical universe in which we exist.

I'm actually agnostic, so I'll answer your questions as best I can:
1) I was raised in a Conservative Jewish home.
2) As far as I know, I'm the only nonbeliever. My mom and sister, however, no longer attend religious services, except for special occasions, such as a bat mitzvah.
3) I was in my late teens when I started questioning my religious upbringing and disliking everything about religion. I'd say that by my mid-20s I was full-on agnostic.
4) Well, in a sense there is a power greater than me--tornadoes, hurricanes, blizzards, other storms. Frank Lloyd Wright once said "I believe in God, only I spell it Nature," and that sort of applies to me.
