How are you Robert?
Well, I think this is a good way to get others to read the Word of God.
As for Romans 10, as I took a quick recap, I believe that it is letting us know that we must have faith. Ok? You may ask how do I get this faith? By the Word of God (Romans 10:17). How will I know the Word of God? By listening to the ministers of the Gospel who are sent by God (Rom. 10:14,15) and reading for yourself.
All in all, Romans 10 lets us know that as much as we want to feel and know something tangible, we must still have have faith in order to receive the salvation that comes from God. When moses left to go upon the mountain top, the people lost the figure that they relied upon for the evidence that God was with them. As time drew on, and they didn't seem to hear a response from God, their faith faltered and they decided to make a God that they could see and worship. They had the zeal of God (Rom. 10:2) but they did not live according to the knowledge that God haad provided them and thus, suffered the wrath of God. This is baically what Romans 10 is saying; You Must Have Faith.

Simple:

The Israelites were trying to establish their own righteousness, when Jesus is the one who full filled all righteousness and the law of Moses (10 commandments) at the cross (Colossi ans 2:14). Romans 10: 4 says it clearly, that we are not under the old covenant of the law Moses (10 commandments), that we are under the new covenant of Jesus (Hebrews 8:7 - 13), if you believe in HIM! Romans 10: 9 and 10 says it clearly.

The bottom line is that we are justified by our faith and not of our works! That Jesus full filled the law of Moses at the cross and his blood is greater than the bulls and goats from the old covenant that Jesus blood cleansed us form all sin: past, present and future. Romans 10:14 shows that we need to sit under a preacher to learn the word of God, so that the five fold ministries can manifest in Ephesians 4: 7 - 15 (Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, teachers and Evangelist) for the edifying the body of Christ.

DO THE WILL OF GOD
You need to find a home church that preaches sound doctrine, be obedient, follow his word, be baptized with the holy spirit, show your self approved and do the will of God (Mark 16: 15 - 18)

Romans 10:2.....There is so much wrapped up in this verse. First it is telling us if we take any verse of the
Holy Scriptures and make it our idol...anything... except the cross of Christ, then we have with-in us sin and
a new gospel which is not of Jesus Christ. Paul stated, don't believe on him but what he preached and that
was the blood that Jesus did shed on the cross for everyone. He was crucified for our sins which we did owe God from the beginning. Jesus Christ is the only way for us to have eternal life with Him and not in a place of torment.
read 1st Cor. 1 and 2:2.

Most churches today will not preach the Cross and the sacrifice that was given unto us thru Jesus and His shed blood. Baptism, good works, having total faith in your preacher will not get you in the Kingdom of God. There are so many churches that do not want you to bring your bible to church. They want you only to listen and believe in what your pastor teaches only. If your preacher is not preaching the Cross and what Jesus did do
there by giving His life, change where you fellowship in Christ. Also if you believe in purgatory then you do not
believe in Jesus dying on the Cross for our sins.

Romans 10 speaks of how the Word of faith brings salvation.

"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." - Romans 10:17.

vv.1-3 Speak of national Israel's ignorance of God's righteousness.

vv. 4-15 Speak of the connection between the righteousness of faith and the object of faith.

vv. 16-21 Speaks of the glad tidings being rejected.

The "key verse" seems to be verse 13, which is a quotation from the prophet Joel, namely Joel 2:32 ... "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

We have a merciful God. Those that choose to mean with their hearts and mouth with their mouths and believe that Christ has risen will be saved. You are not saved by just the laws and doing good deeds. No one is perfect on Earth so there for they can not be saved by the "good deeds" or following the "law" We must take the message of salvation to others. Many will hear and still not believe, we will be judged as individuals and not as a whole nation. Then there are those that have heard and believed and are saved. Ohhhh there is so much in this one chapter. Very good question...I could go on and on.

It means the tenth chapter of the Epistle to the Romans in a Bible.

LOL, had ya going huh?

Starts out with Pauls prayer that he wants for all Israelites, Their Salvation. Explains why he wants it and what keeps them from believing. Verse 4 is a cool verse in the fact the phrase "the end" in "For Christ is the end" is a greek word that really means "goal" and the words "the law" is from the phrase used to say "The Torah". Christ is the goal of The Torah for righteousness to everyone that believes. What a concept for them!

In 6,7 and 8 goes into a Scripture from Deut. 30:12-14 and then explains it out in verses 9-12 which is THE WAY TO SALVATION. One can not really say that they believe in something unless they outwardly confess that with their mouth. What comes out your mouth is usually what you really believe in your heart.

Verse 13 is for those that think everyone else but me. I'm not worthy syndrome like, ya know.

14-16 talks about how people find out and 17 kinda brings all of it home.

18-21 is a quote from Isaiah as well as another from Moses describing exactly how God HAS BEEN ALWAYS calling out and reaching out to people but they just refuse to hear or believe. So that God just went on ahead and revealed the full plan and reached out to ALL His creation. In the gift of salvation to all peoples He hope to provoke the israelites into believing the Scrolls (Torah) that they have had all along.
Deut.32:21& Isaiah 65:1-2

Now that was a lot of stuff and I can not explain what God Himself is trying to say to you specifically. This is considered the Salvation Confession Chapter so I dunno' what exactly you may or may not understand.

Hope what i have helps out though.

God Bless you and guide you in His Truth.

The word is near you;that is the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with you mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame".

I think Verses 8 - 11, explain the whole Chapter. And it is self explanatory.

First that i might say bless is the name of Jesus the Author of our faith and the virtue of our righteousness by his blood. Romans 10 is the unbelief of the chosen nation of Israel, having the truth of God being brought forth through his Son Jesus too them in fulfilling the prophecy of Jewish prophets. Ignoring Gods truth being ignorant in there own self righteousness, did not receive Jesus obvious power of love and fulfillment of Gods Law. And you also see in the apostle Paul's writing concerning the truth that God had and out stretch arm of love to and disobedient and gainsaying nation and that they will be provoke to jealousy by them that are no people of the Jewish nation Gentiles or people like me and you that obey God and love him and believe.

To show the vast difference between the righteousness of the law and the righteousness of faith, and the great preeminence of the righteousness of faith above that of the law; that he might induce and persuade the Jews to believe in Christ, aggravate the folly and sin of those that refused, and justify God in the rejection of such refusers.

That there is no difference between Jews and Gentiles, but they stand upon the same level in point of acceptance with God. In Jesus Christ there is neither Greek nor Jews, Col 3:11. God doth not save any nor reject any because they are Jews, nor because they are Greeks, but doth equally accept both upon gospel terms.

The prescribed method is, Seek and find; this is a rule for us, not a rule for God, who is often found of those that do not seek. His grace is his own, distinguishing grace his own, and he dispenses it in a way of sovereignty, gives or withholds it at pleasure--anticipates us with the blessings, the riches choicest blessings, of his goodness. Thus he manifested himself to the Gentiles, by sending the light of the gospel among them, when they were so far from seeking him and asking after him that they were following after lying vanities, and serving dumb idols. Was not this our own particular case? Did not God begin in love, and manifest himself to us when we did not ask after him? And was not that a time of love indeed, to be often remembered with a great deal of thankfulness?

Many that will not accept of a good proposal will yet acknowledge that they have nothing to say against it: but the Jews who believed not rested not there, but contradicted and blasphemed. God's patience with them was a very great aggravation of their disobedience, and rendered it the more exceedingly sinful; as their disobedience advanced the honour of God's patience and rendered it the more exceedingly gracious. It is a wonder of mercy in God that his goodness is not overcome by man's badness; and it is a wonder of wickedness in man that his badness is not overcome by God's goodness.
