MADRID -- An imam who wrote a book on how to beat your wife without leaving marks on her body has been ordered by a judge in Spain to study the country's constitution.

The judge told Mohamed Kamal Mustafa, imam of a mosque in the southern resort of Fuengirola, to spend six months studying three articles of the constitution and the universal declaration of human rights.

Mr. Mustafa was sentenced to 15 months in jail and fined about $2,600 last year after being found guilty of inciting violence against women.

A judge released him after 22 days in jail on the condition that he undertake a re-education course.

The Spanish government has set up a commission to find ways for the Muslim community to regulate itself. A central recommendation is that imams speak Spanish and have a basic knowledge of human rights and Spanish law.

I'm doing a talk about why it is reasonable to believe in creation. One of the illustrations I've come across is about how the universe is a more accurate time piece than any watch ever made, so if we came across a watch we might wonder amongst other things who made it. We would not wonder what natural process put it together. If the universe is a far more accurate timepiece, why would we conclude that it came about by a natural force rather than a supernatural one?

I think this is pretty potent reasoning, but I'm sure someone must have an argument against it. The question is - is it as potent as the 'watch' illustration?

I'm doing other research, but I need to get to the right information quickly, so I would also welcome direct comments as well as any information references.

Joseph Smith was merely the conduit through which Jesus Christ reestablished His truth to the earth once more in its fullness and purity.

How old will the people we've known and loved our whole lives be in heaven? Will they be as they were at death? I hope not if they've been ill. Will we know someone we loved many years ago and haven't seen since? I heard somewhere that we will all be 7 years old.

Yeah Jesus, but I mean someone that's walking on this earth... Who else is a world hero, ther message still remains true to this day, Martin Luther King, Buddha, Mother Teresa (my personal favorite).
Who do you think is a hero and why what was their message?

Is Barbara Walters a good hero, sometimes I think reporters are our heros today because no they may not carry a profound message but they carry the message of others... so who do you think?

Evolution didn't give us morality or ethics. If we keep evolving, wouldn't our current moral standards become something else? Is it too much to postulate that there might be something more to morality than merely a product of evolution through natural selection over millions of years?
