I would agree with this definition given by one of the most respected evolutionary biologists Douglas J. Futuyma in Evolutionary Biology, Sinauer Associates 1986 -
"In the broadest sense, evolution is merely change, and so is all-pervasive; galaxies, languages, and political systems all evolve. Biological evolution ... is change in the properties of populations of organisms that transcend the lifetime of a single individual. The ontogeny of an individual is not considered evolution; individual organisms do not evolve. The changes in populations that are considered evolutionary are those that are inheritable via the genetic material from one generation to the next. Biological evolution may be slight or substantial; it embraces everything from slight changes in the proportion of different alleles within a population (such as those determining blood types) to the successive alterations that led from the earliest protoorganism to snails, bees, giraffes, and dandelions."

I regularly give my time and money to organisations that help those in need. I am kind to animals and children. I am usually kind to those around me. I respect my parents. I am constantly reminding myself the good in all people and things, and I consistently attempt to foster a sense of love for all mankind in my heart. I seek out god in daily life, and make every attempt to get closer to Divinity. I avoid hypocrisy like the plague.

I, however, am not Christian. Broadly, I am a pantheist, specifically an eclectic pagan. yeah, I believe in Jesus, but I also believe in the other gods, and I think that the Buddha had quite a few brilliant ideas. I use ceremonial magick. I believe in reincarnation. I have gone on numerous vision quests. I can't actually bring myself to believe that there is only one right system of belief.

So, do you think I'm going to go to hell when I die just cos I don't believe that Jesus was the messiah, and where in the Bible does he actually say that?

I am a Christian. Why? Because I don't want to go to hell and I most importantly I want to go to heaven ^^

I did experience a few miracles and therefore got very confident that God is helping me.

However, I am a very skeptical person. I don't delude or fool myself nor do I easily get convinced.

I one day started to doubt the miracles for being mere coincidences. "What if I did not pray? Would I still have recieved the same results?"

That is why i tried not to pray and ask God for help for a while.

Guess what? Miracles still happened!

That is why I understand the truth that praying never had any role in the miracles or fortunes in life.

God answering prayers just that He says no or yes has no difference from not praying or praying.

Never in my life have I gotten any sign or proof that God exists.
Not even one! Ambigious miracles are already disproven as explained.

I want to go to heaven but I just seem to sway away from Christianity now.

convert to their religion?

I heard the rumor that Islam is the fastest growing religion. Do you think these minority groups would be happy to have Muslims to join to their religion? All of them believe Jesus is Messiah?

I went on a Paltalk Christian chat room, the people in there were very ignorant. They fully on said to me that I have to be born-again to get to heaven and all, they said I'm going to hell for not being one. I don't want to be one, no really.

I'm a Non-Denominational Christian. Don't get me wrong, I believe in Jesus, I read the bible etc and etc. But I will NEVER become a born-again Christian, though I don't even know what it is (some form of Protestantism?).

So Christians, does that mean I'm going to hell for not joining your "group" or not being born-again?

No one knows the origin of life and creation definitively. We all believe what we believe, and that's okay.
But why is the opposition to the possiblity if divine creation so hostile? Why do some, despite not knowing how earth, life and the universe were created, scoff so fiercely at divine intervention and direction in the origin of life and existence? Is God a more absurd answer than pure luck and happen-stance?
I really don't mind opposition and debate, but I read so many "idiot" comments on here aimed at Christians, it really makes me wonder....

Since Animal FLESH is Spoken of in this Scripture as "Having the CAPACITY" of Being Able to Be EATEN by Humans AND is Talking about the Soul in the (SAME) Scripture; Isn't it (VERY) OBVIOUS that the Soul is the Person "Themselves"; RATHER than being a "Separate" Entity that goes on Living AFTER the Body Dies ???

Wondering because all my family is Catholic, and they have no idea I'm anything but. When I do tell them, I will have to make sure I'm moved out, and no longer financially dependent on them (I'm 18 right now, still at home). This is because they will freak out, and will not rest until they've wept, stormed, and prayed themelves into oblivion. I'm... not looking forward to it.

Have any similar stories for me?

& (HEAVENly) Life "Afterward; Then WHY Do those who Believe that Jesus is God Not (ALSO) Except the "Fact" that Jesus was (STILL) Inferior to the Father AFTER His Resurection to Heaven Since 1st Corinthians 11:3 says "The HEAD of Christ IS God" ! ! !

REMEMBER that 1st Corinthians was Written "Decades" AFTER Jesus Died and was Raised to (HEAVENly) Life !

SO; its VERY, VERY "Obvious" that Jesus Is (NOT) God ! ! !

No slang or abuse or wisecracks please..... I am NOT asking this question to provoko a slew of remarks from non-believers of the Bible.

I am seriously confused and I would like valid answers.....

Please don't use the H2O reference to me.... cause I know that though water can exist in three states, the composition never changes, while Jesus is a human being with flesh and bones, God is a spiritual being.... having different compositions.

In His Hands
The hands that made the world and gave the sun and moon their light are the tiney Hands of a baby born one cold December night....
The Hands that stilled the wind and tamed the fury of the sea are the caloused Hands of a carpenter who lived in poverty....
The Hands that held the power to break the binding chains of sin are the gentle Hands that washed the feet of tired and dusty men.......
The Hands that cleansed the leper, healed the blind and raised the dead are the praying Hands of one who cried,"Not My will, but Thine instead....."
The Hands that shaped the universe and flung the stars in space are the nail-pierced Hands of a dying man who suffered in our place....
The Hands of our Creator, Lord and King of Heaven above, are the Savior's Hands, forever reaching out to us with love.
