I am a Christian. Why? Because I don't want to go to hell and I most importantly I want to go to heaven ^^

I did experience a few miracles and therefore got very confident that God is helping me.

However, I am a very skeptical person. I don't delude or fool myself nor do I easily get convinced.

I one day started to doubt the miracles for being mere coincidences. "What if I did not pray? Would I still have recieved the same results?"

That is why i tried not to pray and ask God for help for a while.

Guess what? Miracles still happened!

That is why I understand the truth that praying never had any role in the miracles or fortunes in life.

God answering prayers just that He says no or yes has no difference from not praying or praying.

Never in my life have I gotten any sign or proof that God exists.
Not even one! Ambigious miracles are already disproven as explained.

I want to go to heaven but I just seem to sway away from Christianity now.

Could it be because I posses atheist qualities of being skeptical and logical that makes me question Christianity?

I don't feel good since I want to go to heaven.

I am not lying to myself or trying to fool myself I believe in God. That is not real.

The truth is that I just feel like Christianity is becoming more and more non sense the more I get more logical with life.

No I am not a troll and I am serious.

What should I do?

If you believe n the miracles of God, & still not feel good & dont pray, do yu think there is a relation betweenthe 2? Prayer is not just for God to hear us , it is also for us to be with God, we get in his presence in prayer & in praise. He loves to hear from us.

if we do not pray, yes we will feel bad , & have all kinds of doubts & negative vibes. We need that prayer closet &" lean on Jesus's bosom." as John says. it strengthens us. God bless.

I too accepted Christ because I did not want to go to hell. And for quite a few years, that is the only reason I saw for being a Christian. Not that I lived a blatantly sinful life, and then think I would escape hell, but because I thought that is all there was. About stopping praying and still seeing miracles- Satan can disguise himself as the angel of light and perform counterfeit miracles-
prayer however is SO SO much more than just getting things from God- prayer is having a relationship with the ONE that allows us not to be in hell when we die. A free ticket to heaven, is not what Jesus wants for you, I know because it was not what He wanted from me, and until I realized that, prayer was just an exercise. However when I realized that He desires a relationship with me, that goes far beyond doing things for me, prayer has become most precious.
Satan would want you to give up, do not do that
as Oswald Chambers wrote- Do not pray for a greater ministry, prayer is the greater ministry.
And as someone else wrote, Prayer does not get God ready to do our will, He gets you ready to do His.
The greatest miracle, is not fortune, is not things, the greatest miracle is being given the privilege of being with the One that died to save us, and knowing Him more each day.

In the final few years, there were many rumours that Alice has supposedly 'observed faith' or is 'Born once more'. These rumors were flying round plenty particularly with the discharge of 'The Last Temptation' - which without doubt has a few theological tones to it. But on the other hand, that is not anything new. Many of Alice's lyrics have treated this going all of the as far back as "Fields of Regret" and "Second Coming." He feels it is an fascinating area to jot down approximately as he does not wish to do songs which are almost making out within the again seat of a vehicle or the like. As plenty of men and women recognise, Alice's dad was once a minister and his father in regulation is a minister as good. Alice's mother continues to be lively with the church. So, reviews fly round. For illustration, Alice can have pushed his mother to a few church role and the following factor you realize, men and women are announcing that he was once born once more. It's no one of a kind than the chook killing tale. Alice isn't a Satanist however he isn't a faith nut both. (Brian Nelson, January 1996) atheist

Perhaps you should try praying and asking God to gift you the gift of the Holy Spirit. Having even one experience with the Holy Ghost will make you have no doubts what so ever.
I however think you are just a troll.

Islam is not a blind religion like Christianity. Christianity essentially says defy logic and open your heart because your heart is the only thing that matters. This is completely contradictory. Humans by nature are logical, analytical, and curious beings and since god created them, and gave them the ability of reason and thought, the Christian perspective of BLIND faith does not make any sense.
I am a Muslim, and I have sound knowledge in the laws of probability, Science, Math, and philosophy. But this knowledge reinforces and strengthens my belief in "Allah". The Holy Quran does not forbid you to question the words to explore because that is the only way for you to find the real TRUTH. People who shut their eyes and put all their hopes IN blind Faith like Christians... usually become lost when something does not go according to plan. The Holy Quran is not contradictory against established Science. NOT A SINGLE VERSE... I am not talking about scientific theories.. but i am talking about established scientific LAWS in the field of Agriculture, Cosmology, Astronomy, Biology, Embryology, Ecology, Geology, Hydrology, Meterology, Physics. I can go on... There are verses in the Quran, that state scientific principles that our population have just discovered in the recent years. How can this be? How can a shepherd in the middle of nowhere (Prophet Mohammad, the voice of god) come up with these scientific laws 1500 years ago? How can you deny the truth?

What proof do you want that God exist You are alive that is the ultimate proof being just a christian is not going to get you to heaven it is your Spiritual relationship and how you live your life that is pleasing to Him and truly believing in Him and accepting him. Who do you think is going to get you into heaven? Not only your good deeds, but by His Grace. Stop testing. Pray and have faith.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him
for he who comes to God must believe that He is,
and that He is a rewarder of those who dilligently seek Him.

Ephesians2:8,9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and not of yourselves it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast

If your a Christian you have nothing to worry because your already Born again but if your not then you need to be. The bible teaches all we need to do is believe and we are saved by grace and not by works and I think you need to read the bible more and pray more so God will reveal Himself to you and also find a good bible believing church and fellowship with them and I am sure the pastor will be grad to help you to travel along the narrow road that leads all the way to Jesus Christ and life eternal. May God bless you and let you see Him and trust Him fully

If you think logically, read A Case For Christ by Lee Stroebel. I think it might be right up your alley.
Also Faith is believing in something you cannot see. You can't see the air but you know it is there and so on.....You believe the sun will come up tomorrow and set in the evening... yet there is no guarentee...we believe that by faith. Search your heart and keep talking to God.

Catholics have always understood that it's not necessarily YOUR prayers, but the prayers of others (both on earth and in heaven) said FOR YOUR BENEFIT that have the greatest bearing on your life.

Don't you think that you have generations of blood relatives up there in heaven, many of whom you have never met, and never even knew, constantly praying for you, and asking God to bless you and keep you, whether or not you really deserve it?

Pray to God for wisdom and for discernment ... and ask your friends to pray for you, too.

Then perhaps, you'll understand.

Jesus tells us to be IN the world, not OF it. You are having a tendency to be more of the world in your thinking. The Bible says "The wisdom of this world is foolishness to God." Logic and what humans call intelligence are of no use to God. What matters most to Him is your heart. If you have Him in your heart, then you are one of His. By wanting "proof" of God, you are demonstrating worldly qualities. As a Christian, you shouldn't require "proof" that God exists. You should walk by faith, and take His word as the whole TRUTH. If you are trying to test God, I'm sure it's not going to work. God knows what's in your heart and your mind before you even think it.
Remember Thomas? Jesus told him that because he saw, he believed, but He also said "Blessed are those who BELIEVE WITHOUT SEEING."
It's all about faith, hon. I pray you find your way back to it. God Bless
