Bhagvadageeta

2/40

nehabhikrama-naso 'sti
pratyavayo na vidyate
svalpam apy asya dharmasya
trayate mahato bhayat

TRANSLATION

In this endeavor there is no loss or diminution, and a little advancement on this path can protect one from the most dangerous type of fear.

Mahato bhayat ( GREATEST FEAR)
(........That is your question)

Trayate ( protects)

This verse assures that greatest fear will be removed.
Correct?

What that fear is ?

Please refer to its earlier verse>>>

karma-bandham prahasyasi.

The biggest fear is karma -bandham

( Fear of being trapped by worldly delusion).

Hare Krishna

I some times wonder. However there are only two genetic fears: falling and loud noses - all others are learnt. So you can choose which it is to be.

I sometimes think the fear of loosing face is the greatest. look at the behaviour of young guys in cars. Cars kill '000 of people - maim 100,000s a year, more than any war. But to see the way some drive - one would think they were harmless - like a fairground ride.

We all are scared of the unknown. Although, QURAAN hints at life after death, we all are scared of what's on the other side of this dark ending called death. Also I feel the way the last day of earth or 'DOOMS DAY', as it is called, has been described in QURAAN, people aware of it are scared at the mere thought of being a part of it, as and when it is destined to happen.
