Fiction...perhaps it was a result of something smoked or imbibed...the Bible actually teaches the truth about people who will go to heaven some day...there are only a small handful of people in heaven until that last day. Then with the shout of the Archangel and the Trumpet of the Lord--the sky will be filled with the Host of God...and the righteous will be taken to be with Our Lord.
People are dead, they don't separate some magical part from their bodies and float up there to live in paradise, or float somewhere hot to live and burn and suffer.

Yes in the Qur'an surah 17 Al Isra' Allah the only one God had moved him from mesjiddil Haran in Mecca to mesjidddil Aqsa in a night and then he was lifted to the skies accompanied by Gabriel angel. He met with .He was lifted by Allah and met Allah for accepting the instruction for praying at least 5 times in 24 hours.Muhammad met with another prophets such as Moses,Jesus,Abraham and other prophets. He saw the heaven and aslo hell which were guarded by angels. He did not end up in heaven because at that time God did not yet decide him to die.God still wanted him to convey the Islam religion. He spread out Islam in 22 years,2 months and 22 days and he died on his 63 years old.
He had no sin so he would be in heaven..He would give help to good muslimds as his followers to be in heaven too.All prophets would be in heavenHeaven and hell would have its inhabitant if this universe has been collapsed or kiamat and on the resurrection day God will divide all humans into heaven and hell inhabitant in line with their doings on this earth.

This allegation is nowhere to be found in the Quran. Thus there is no debate if it is not recorded. It falls into the genre of myth.
