Nope. Faith is belief without evidence.
When you've got evidence, it's not faith.

No, it doesn't take a leap of faith to believe in experimental evidence. You can perceive the results of the experiment. You can't perceive God. All experiental data can be used in other calculations and further existing knowledge and understanding within a person and about most subjects--however, God, a self-contained paradox which exists outside of the experiential realm plays no role in anything, and cannot be used in natural equations to gain answers. Ergo he's not worth considering. Move on.

Um you might want to find these atheists that are faithful in or into science. There are of atheists who just don't care for science to be an answer, hence as to why atheism aren't to be considered a religion. Because we don't have to believe in the same thing other than share we do not believe in god.

About the only assumption that most of us make is that the real world exists and is somewhat reliable.
Not making that assumption would probably cause a person to go insane though (and you make the assumption as well so...) and it is the assumption that asks the least questions.
Once one accepts that the real world probably exists then believing in experimental evidence isn't really much of a leap.

Atheism is about a lack of religious belief, That is all. It is true that a lit if atheists are science junkies though.
It certainly does not mean we are "automatic experts" in medicine or physics though.
If you want that, then ask in the Maths and Sciences section. They make most of us look like we never evolved from Apes

No, by definition experimental evidence is proof, and by definition faith is belief without proof.

You're making an idiotic conflation. The definition of atheist is 'one who does not believe in a god or gods'. Not 'one who does not believe in a god or gods but worships science'. That is a retarded assumption added by people at your level of stupidity.

not really.
you obviously don't understand the meaning of science.
science works with repeatable obsevable evidence. theories are then based on that evidence until proven or diproven.
no faith involved.

there is no faith it is knowledge that drives it. Even in an experiment things are pre thought out.
