Jehovah's Witnesses are a Cult which rejects the Deity of Jesus Christ, and the Personhood of The Holy Spirit, and seek Salvation through works, rather than the Blood of Jesus.

From the Merriam Webster OnLine Dictionary:
"1 a: one who professes belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ
Jehovah's Witnesses certainly believe in Jesus Christ. They are out trying to obey Jesus' command found at Matthew 28:19, 20 :
"19Â Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20Â teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU."

They believe that Jesus was Christ, regardless of anything else, that makes them "Christians" by the generally accepted objective convention. If you want to limit Christianity to some particular sect you are part of, then no, they aren't, but in that case Christianity ends up being a rather small religion.

True Christians are not those who just claim to be, but those who obey and do the will of God. All Scriptures quoted from the KJV. Please note Matthew 7:21 - "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." See also Hebrews 5:9.
True Christians will have love for one another as well as for everyone else, but it is this self-sacrificing love, even a willingness to die for one another, that distuingeshes us as being Christ's disciples. Note John 13:34, 35 - "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."
Also consider John 15:12, 13 - "This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
Furthermore, rather than going around spouting off "WWJD" (What Would Jesus Do?) we actually try to emulate the example he set for us, as is indicated in 1 Peter 2:21 - "For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps." See also John 13:15.
Jehovah's Witnesses do these things, and more. We attempt to be the persons the Bible teaches us to be. We ARE Christians.

"A cult is a religion that is said to be unorthodox or that emphasizes devotion according to prescribed ritual. Many cults follow a living human leader, and often their adherents live in groups apart from the rest of society. The standard for what is orthodox, however, should be God’s Word, and Jehovah’s Witnesses strictly adhere to the Bible. Their worship is a way of life, not a ritual devotion. They neither follow a human nor isolate themselves from the rest of society. They live and work in the midst of other people."
-- Reasoning
They are the only ones who really respect what the Bible says and who preach going from door to door as Jesus said.
All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work." -- 2 Thimothy 3:16, 17
"Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit." -- Matthew 28:19
"And every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus." -- Acts 5:42
They are warm people who manifest a sincere love and interest towards their brothers and sisters (and not only). Interestingly, the Bible says that Jesus' true disciples will manifest love.
“By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves.” -- John 13:35
Even being persecuted, they don't give up to their faith.
"Then people will deliver YOU up to tribulation and will kill YOU, and YOU will be objects of hatred by all the nations on account of my name." -- Matthew 24:9
"I have given your word to them, but the world has hated them, because they are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world." -- John 24:14

Yes, Jehovah’s Witnesses are true Christians.
To verify, you have to know what a true Christian is.
A true Christian believes that Jesus is the divine/holy Son of God, the Christ, the Way to the Father.
A true Christian follows and believes in the Bible as the Word of God.
A true Christian believes that Jesus' Father is Jehovah and he is the only true God (John 17:3, Psalms 83:18)
A true Christian preaches and excercises faith to Christ, and the Father (John 17:26, John 3:16)
True Christians have faith in Jesus and his Father(John 14)
True Christians make Our Father’s name known so that the love of Christ be with them & Jesus be with those who showed faith (John 17:26)
Their form of worship is clean and undefiled and their teachings have no pagan roots (James 1:27).
True Christians are no part of the world (John 15:19)
True Christians believe that their salvation is from the Father and from the Son (Rev 7:10)
True Christians do the will of the Father, Jehovah as Jesus commanded in Mat 7:21
True Christians magnify Jehovah's name (Mat 6:9)
True Christians’ warfare is not of the flesh (2 Cor 10:3,4)
True Christians believe that we have to be in subjection to the existing human governments because they act as ministers also for our own good (Romans 13)
True Christians have love among themselves so they don't kill each other during times of war and distress (John 13:35)
True Christians bear good fruits (Mat 7:17-20)
True Christians love God’s commandments and follow them (1 John 2)
True Christians preach about God’s kingdom.(Mat 28)
True Christians believe that there is only One God, not Three Persons (not a trinity which is not taught in the Bible) Deut 6:4
Is God composed of THREE PERSONS?
Gen 17:1 states “, then Jehovah appeared to A´bram and said to him: “I am God Almighty”
Do you use the phrase “I am” for THREE persons or you only use it for ONE Person?
If God is composed of THREE persons, God should have said “WE ARE God” but you cannot find that it the Bible.
You never use the phrase “I am” for THREE Persons. I am is only used for one person.
JESUS said to the Father also in John 17:3, that the Father is the “ONLY True God”, this means there is one and only one person who is God, the Father. and this is confirmed in 1 Cor 8:5 where is states “6 there is actually to us one God the FATHER”.Notice the Father only. Notice also in John 17:3 Jesus excluded himself as the only true God. Instead of saying “We are the only true God” JESUS said “YOU (referring to the Father), and not US” as the only true God. Now are you against Jesus?
Now, if the Son is Jehovah, the Father is Jehovah and the holy spirit is Jehovah according to the Trinity doctrine, then these THREE PERSONS, are THREE Jehovah.
But the Bible says in Deut 6:4 Listen, O Israel: Jehovah our God is ONE Jehovah.
Notice in Deut 6:4 it used “IS” and only ONE person is involved. If there are three Jehovah then it should have used ARE for THREE persons.
There is ONLY ONE JEHOVAH, who is God Almighty.
Acts 2:36 states that God has MADE Jesus both Lord and Christ. The Lordship of Jesus has a beginning because it was MADE by God.
Jesus did admit that his SOURCE of Life is the Father. John 5:26.
Was Jesus also created?
Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten(Gennao) thee. Acts 13:33
The word begotten in Greek is gennao. It means “to be born” –Strong’s dictionary defines this as procreate (properly of the father, but by extension of the mother); figuratively to regenerate: - bear, beget, be BORN, BRING FORTH, conceive, be delivered of, gender, MAKE, spring.
At Acts 13:33, it states the Father “has MADE/BRING FORTH” the Son. This verse talks about the relationship of God to his Son whom he MADE/BROUGHT FORTH (Gennoa).
See Col 1:15 and Rev 3:14

No. They claim to be the only true Christians but they do not believe in Trinity. The word Trinity is not in the Bible, but the triune character of God is thoughout the Bible.
They made their own Bible translation, NWT, to support their odd doctrines. They do not belive Jesus is the same God as the Father. To them Jesus is " a god" and an archangel Michael. They also accpt Jesus as their Savior.
The Watchtower Society is a dangerous mindwashing organization. They call the shots.
