Stick a forkinya your done. The kind of blasphemy where you give credit for a work of God to an evil or satanic entity is forgivable. But to not speak what the Holy Spirit has given you to speak when delivered up to satan or his synagogue and instead say something else is THE unpardonable sin. But this sin can only be committed by God's special people (His elect) and only when satan is on earth pretending to be the Real Christ. It is sad that none of the answers i saw before typing this was even close to being right.

Toast.
If a person has committed the unpardonable sin, then they aren't interested in God. They don't hear Him anymore and therefore would not have a sense of being a sinner or of needing to repent.
As long as a person has a sense in themselves that they may need to repent for an action, then the Holy Spirit is still there talking.
Otherwise, toast, my friend, and black toast at that.

Hi! People have various beliefs about this subject. Through the years I have been taught in church that if a person commits this sin, their heart would be so hard that they would not even be concerned that they might go to hell, and wouldn't be trying to find forgiveness. On the other hand, if a person is concerned that they might have committed it, they likely haven't, because they there is still an area in their heart where they desire to be in right relationship with God, and therefore they can repent of whatever they did, and have their relationship with God restored.
When I have seen this question asked before on here, I have looked it up in google and read many articles on it. The one at this link seems to provide the best explanation about it, of the ones I have read. It examines Bible verses about it, and I feel it explains things quite well.

Blasphemy is the unpardonable sin. That is saying that you deny the existence of God.
Don't know why merely thinking it without saying it wouldn't be unpardonable as well since God is supposedly omniscient.
As to if it is really unpardonable, I don't really spend a lot of time worrying about it (obviously). Although if you agreed to make a large donation to a church, I am sure many would find a loophole for you.

Correctly divide the Word. No one has committed the Unpardonable Sin yet. It can only be committed by those delivered up for trial after satan, playing his role as antichrist, is booted from heaven to earth: 6th seal, 6th trump, 6th vial. If those delivered up refuse to let the Holy Spirted speak through them, they will have committed that Unpardonable Sin. God will not forgive that sin. Will anyone commit it? IMHO, no.
PS Only God’s elect will be delivered up for those trials. Instead of finding satan a temptation, they find him an abomination.

Toast.
But, do People Really KNOW How to Commit the Unpardonable Sin?
Do you really know how Hard it is to Commit?
Do you Know what it Takes to "BE Able to Even Commit it?
I really don't think so.
If you Still Want to Go To Heaven---you Have Not Committed it.
It takes Time to commit it and it is Hard to do.
Plenty of Time to Turn Back to GOD.
Hebrews 6:4,5,6 is the Unpardonable Sin.
I Really Wouldn't Wooooooorrrrryy Bout' It.
And don't let satan Woooooorrryy you to Death that you have Committed it.
If you ever do, satan won't Ever Bother you, Again!

If you were evil enough to commit the unpardonable sin, you would never consider repenting.

The unpardonable sin is maintaining that God will not or cannot forgive anyone who appropriately confesses and repents, and then, believing your own lie, failing to do so.

Depends on what you look at as the "unpardonable." In truth the only unpardonable sin is the one of excluding God from your life after having known Him. But, after you have known Him, why would you want to? All the people who yak on and on about how they have tried God and God failed them have not had the fortitude to go through any troublesome times without blaming God for them. God does not even entertain thoughts of evil so why would He visit it on any of us?

Christians have generally understood that verse about the unforgiveable sin against the Holy Spirit to not rule out repentence.
Traditionally the unforgiveable sin has been seen as the refusal to repent and return to God. It is a rejection of the Holy Spirit who works in us to bring us back to God.
