Oh my, please do not lose your faith! If you are having doubts, understand that satan wants you to have these doubts! It is fact that God is God. It is fact that Jesus came, to redeem us from sin! It is fact that He was persecuted, crucified, buried and arose, on the third day! If you truly do the studying, you will see that there is overwhelming evidence that Christ is and was exactly who we know HIM to be, the Son of God!

I do not believe just because others do! I believe because I have sought the truth, on my own! I sought HIM through my prayers, from my heart, I sought Him in scriptures and in my everyday life! Therefore, I pray that you too, will study and seek God! He says, if we seek Him, we shall find HIM and that is very true! My prayer for you is that you always seek Him and grow, in your relationship. That God will show Himself to you, in a way which will never allow you to doubt again!! May His peace be with you, on your spiritual journey!

Blessings,
Gail

Well, there is no evidence that there is a god, nor is there evidence that anything in the bible is true. I believe Jesus existed, but I completely discount any stories of his "divinity." The bible has been used to justify wholesale slaughter of people for being different, the burning of women as "witches," and has worsened the suffering of the poor.

There is absolutely none. It is all hearsay of hearsay which leads us to heresy as they would say.

Think of it this way. Just take one small sampling of 100 humans over a period of 24 hours.

Tell one person a story. Give that story 24 hours to replicate around and then listen to it again.

Just how close to the original version do you believe it will be?

Now take the story of Jesus, pass it around for what 160 years, then write it down.

Do you see how this whole thing just doesn't make sense?

First of all, don't go with catholicism. They change and ignore many things in the bible. Look for a non-denominational church (I strongly suggest a Church of Christ), and then I can talk to you a bit more on the subject.

But if you want proof the bible exists, you should be more specific. There are historical records of several Jesus'; When the prophecy of a Messiah was made, several people named their children Jesus (or Joseph, which means the same thing except in a different language, Roman I believe). Other than that there's not much on Jesus himself. Our education is ruled by disbelievers of the bible; They wouldn't want to make any proof public easy to get to.

I could discuss it more if I could actually talk to you. IM or e-mail me.

The new testament was written 70-100 after the "death of jesus". do you think some one could actually remember the exact things he said 70-100 years after he died.

Trust me the bible is highly bias and has a big political agenda, Read the book of proverbs its all about bowing down to authority no matter what.

Josh McDowell has a great book, "The New Evidence That Demands a Verdict". It explains how the Bible came to us, and a bunch of stuff like that. You might want to consider getting it.

Truth hurts at first, even shocks. But, once you get over the initial shock, anger sets in. Then you finally go into acceptance. Went through it myself. The freedom is intoxicating.

Books were written about Christopher Columbus. Do you believe it just because or do you actually read it?

Its about faith God gave to man a measure of faith you got to make it grow and part of the problem is you need a personal relationship with Jesus not a religious formality.

There is no evidence, at all. The Bible has been shown to be incorrect concerning science, history and archaeology.

Pick up the new book "The God Delusion" or "Challenging the Verdict"
