Doesn't the idea of the entire planet occupied by nothing but Jesus worshiping Christians scare the hell out of you? What a waste of thousands of years of human diversity, culture, local
traditions, and different ethnicities. How on earth could ANYONE want that.

I saw a "Twilight Episode" once where everyone was the same, where everybody was supposed to be happy, but in actuality, it was HELL.

(P.S. I deleted this question because I messed up the title, here's the second draft lol)

The good, bad and the ugly make mankind, we believe. But each one is a mixture of all these character traits. None is totally good, bad or ugly? If this is the case how a just judgment is possible? In earth we have a better system of judgment if truly dispensed – the fact is that it is not truly dispensed and money and status count - where punishment is decreed by the nature of the crime. No holy texts say of a just punishment based on this premise. Up there the punishment is eternal! No fixed term for one in burning pyres raging in Hell! Am I wrong in my assumption? Don’t I appear confused and eccentric?

I just discovered that my mother in law thinks I am satanist.
She is closed minded and lives in the bible belt.
I am wondering if I should even bring this up with her, in an attempt to clarify to her that I am actually agnostic?
Her son thinks "atheists" means the same as "satanist".
So I am wondering from others on if you have closed minded relatives like this and if you even bother trying to explain the difference?
I am some what hurt by it and somewhat amused as I think it is kinda funny.
What are your experiences?
Thanks

I mean, those stories are full of supernatural fantasy and miracles.... things that we just don't see today and are just downright impossible...

Why would God expect anyone to buy into that stuff? It seems pretty unreasonable to me... I mean, I wasn't there to see Mohammad, Abraham or Jesus, so why would I believe ANYTHING about them?

Why can't we just choose to believe that there may be some God or God force out there, and that it's all going to be OK somehow, without all of those silly rules, doctrines and literally UNbelievable events?!?!

Humans were carefully engineered to match in harmony with the earth's environment.

- Regardless of Atheism, Christianity, Islam, or any other religious belief.

Various religious people may agree with this. Creationism matches this, along with various other religious elements.

Does this seem logical?
