I believe it is a form of aggression to assert dominance. Do not let it get you down. When you realize where it comes from, it loses it power over you. Just use it as a reminder not to criticize others.

I assume you are talking about religious intolerence cosidering this is religion and spirtuality.
People either are protecting their faith by bashing others faiths or are just ignorant about other religions
