A few years back, I had a guy who was abolutely in love with me follow me around. I used the guy as a punching bag. I would insult him, mock him and belittle him. There were several guys at the time, that I sorta misled. 5 years later, everything came back to me EXACTLY the same way, in the form of 1 guy. I was insulted, made fun of and played, all for liking him. I became vindictive and attempted to have him terminated at work. 4 months later, I was terminated. Believe in karma, now?

I would assume that we all agree that He 'controls' at least some things. Do you think there are things He doesn't ordain/plan (as in, He only intervenes sometimes)? Or do you think that He ordains/plans everything that happens?

Best answer will be given to the answer that's most logically explained and that has at least one scripture supporting it.

Thanks! :)

The archaeological and historical evidence is consistent with the site initially being used as a single family farm over many centuries.

Please read the source before prematurely providing an obtuse answer:

I just saw a question a moment ago about some guy who wants to leave the Mormon church and he had people telling him, "It's a step in the right direction! Good decision to get away from that cult!" yadda yadda yadda

Whatever happened to religious tolerance? Whatever happened to live and let live? Whatever happened to respecting other people's beliefs?

This isn't a competition, so can we please stop with the "My church is better than your church" mindset that we have?

This goes for EVERYONE...Catholics, Mormons, Baptists, whatever. I just don't see why people have to make it seem like it's a competition or something by bashing other people's beliefs.

They both seem to ignore everyday realities that people face, and end up in policies that do not support families. By Economic Fundamentalism I mean the idea that I must be a hardcore "Free Market Conservative" vs. a "Communist".

Or Religious Fundie thought might suggest that in order to love God I have to vote against abortion or gay marriage, without also considering the importance of health care for kids or Social Security for widows, kids, and old people...

It seems these labels and fringe issues have taken over real concerns like education, energy independence, fixing our national debt etc...

I have been LDS my entire life. I served a Two Year Mission and am married in the temple. After years of study, prayer, contemplation and seeking counsel, I have decided for myself that the church isn't true. I DO NOT harbor any ill feelings towards the church. I just don't want to be a part of it. I am NOT angry or bitter. It just seems obvious to me that it is not true, therefore, I am leaving. I do not wish to provoke anyone on this forum by asking this question.

Thank you in advance for your insights, comments, and support.
