first,the holy spirit doesn 't speak of himself.second,what he says always lines up with the scriptures.third,there will always be a second witness in some way only you can understand personally!eventually you will hear him clear as a bell and recognize his voice.we need to hear in a different way thats all .he helps us ,we practice to listen.....properly.

it can't really be explained but...its a feeling deep in your gut or something you feel in your inner core and im sure its something you have felt ALLLL your life but you just dont know it yet...you hear people who have escaped danger and they all say, as soon as they stepped into the place or area where they were, they knew they were in danger, they knew something was wrong...like their instincts told them get out of there..but in my opinion it is the holy spirit guiding them and telling them get away from there.

Unless you have a relationship with God you won't understand the answer to this question. It has to do with having a discerning spirit within yourself so you can tell the difference between what is true and what is not.
