Question: How is it possible for people to be born hermaphrodites?
Pat J Bushong

Answer: Because the sexual organs derive from common precursors, these precursors
can develop into a combination of male and female organs, or, often, into the male
organ on one side of the body and the female on the other with the external genitals
being a hybrid of the two. This condition is rare, with only 302 reported cases
between 1899 (the first medical report) and 1974. All of this is caused by a hormonal
failure in the fetus, not by the XX or XY genotype. The word hermaphrodite, by the
way, comes from the two Greek gods Hermes (male) and Aphrodite (female).

unfortunately they are probably an effect from a parents or somewhere in those genes, a sin....(generational curses I suppose) Also God puts people on earth like that to either be taught something and Used for his glory or to teach people. You can't question evrything...you will have all the answers when you meet Him! Either way it is a defect, just like and deformity or retardation...But most wouldn't change a thing and believe they have become a stronger person because of what they have gone through! They wouldn't feel so aweful if people wouldn't judge them right!!

It is genetic flaw, simply that and nothing else, genetic flaws occur in all sorts of ways from children being born with extra arms or legs, to the same thing in animals. Being born with both male and female parts is a genetic abnormality.

Why is anyone born the way they are? There are all sorts of problems and genetic abnormalities going on every day.

They should not be looked at like lepers. They are people born with obstacles to overcome or learn to live with and we should accept them the way they are. They were born like that, not altered afterward.

God made everyone special and we all have our obstacles to overcome or endure, it's a part of life.

When Bad Things Happen to Good People...is a 1981 book by Harold Kushner, a Conservative rabbi. Kushner addresses in the book one of the principal problems of theism, the conundrum of why, if the universe was created and is governed by a God who is of a good and loving nature, there is nonetheless so much suffering and pain in it — essentially, the evidential problem of evil.

Why is a child born with a cleft lip? spina bifida? I could name many congenital defects. God loves us all, regardless of our defects.
I know your question refers to their sexual preference. Why don't we let God be the judge.

The Reason People Get Sick
Read the account in the bible book of Mark chapter 2 verses 1-12.
The account of a man who was paralyzed and Jesus cured him.

What do we learn from this miracle?— We learn that Jesus has the power to forgive sins and to make sick people well. But we also learn something else, something very important. We learn that people get sick because of sin.
Since we all get sick sometimes, does this mean that we are all sinners?— Yes, the Bible says that all of us are born with sin. Do you know what it means to be born with sin?— It means that we are born imperfect. We sometimes do things wrong, even though we don’t want to. Do you know how we all came to have sin?—
We got this way because the first man, Adam, did not obey God. He sinned when he broke God’s law. And we all got sin from Adam. Do you know how we got our sin from him? Let me try to explain it in a way that you can understand.
Maybe you have helped someone bake bread in a pan. What will happen to the bread if there is a dent in the pan? Do you know?— That same mark, or dent, will show on all the bread you make in that pan, won’t it?—
Adam was like that pan, and we are like the bread. He became imperfect when he broke God’s law. It was as though he had received a dent, or a bad mark. So when he had children, what would they be like?— All his children would receive this same mark of imperfection.

After the fall from Grace the creation began to mutate. GOD wants all of us to seek HIM for salvation from our sin. We are ALL sinners.

Babies are born everyday with different deformities. Who knows why they are born that way! God does not make the babies, people do.

Nature. There's no denying that when two people join whatever makes them them defines the product of their union. G-d is not running around influencing events in the world. We pray for strength and guidance, not lottery outcomes.
