For anyone that's read the books, did you find anything in there that was particularly 'anti God'? I didn't. (Excellent books btw.)

For people who believe in God it won't change their minds.

For people who don't currently believe in God - it'll open a world to them filled with angels, Gods and daemons. Impressionable types may confuse this with reality and open their minds to the possibility of God existing...

I.e. If anything, won't it turn more people towards religion? What are the God squad frightened of? Do they feel like they're letting God down by questioning his existence?

If God exists, he's a big boy. He can handle it. Why not question his existence and believe in him all the more afterwards...?

In the book of James, the inspired writer exhorts: “Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith shall save him that is sick, and the Lord shall raise him up…” (5:14, 15).

Some suggest that oil was employed as a daily item of toiletry in ancient times.
A number of writers contend that the oil of James 5:14 was merely a medicinal item.
Some scholars think that the “anointing” referred to by James was simply a refreshing, encouraging act of friendship.

The sick are still among us. And virtually no one questions the fact that the church should have elders today, where qualified men can be found. Should elders, then, in connection with their prayers, be anointing the sick with oil?

G/gods with their blood sacrifices, martydom and blood atonements, illustrate the the utter barbarism of ancient religous practices. We could dismiss it as merely the passe superstion of primitives if it wasn't still considered sacred today.

How did premeditated deaths become the ultimate show of love to a G/god? How does a G/god use blood sacrifices to e/affect a desired result?

Thanks in advance

Would you think it possible that the hidden message in the sin of Adam and Eve was something like "eating" (attachment to desire) the "fruit" (result or outcome) of "knowledge" (action or inaction)? Would you agree that it is indeed the mother of all sins, something that is still happening to Mankind even now?

It would be centered in Redondo Beach. The individual quakes range in magnitude from 7.1 to 7.9

This is the same group who predicted that the UN would take over the world sometime between 2001-MAR-26 and APR-24 and that a word-wide famine would being during 2001-SEP.

SEP-12: The House of Yahweh issued a news release stating that nuclear war was to begin on SEP-12. Their leader, Yisrayl Hawkins, says that the countdown to the nuclear war began with the signing of the Oslo accords on 1993-SEP-13.

Is it instructed that you will pick and choose the bits from the bible that you like and ignore those which you dont?
For example the bits where it says women should be obedient and wear head coverings in church, and where it says to sell all your worldly possessions,no one (or very few) listens to.
And you all seem to think that jesus claimed he was god in human form and that he said you can all do what you like from now on as your sins are all forgiven, claiming a new covenant.
Is this an instruction from a pastor or church elder when you join?

The way American Christians talk it would seem that they assume Jesus will return and do so in America. (I could be wrong - I posted another question to verify:

"If you think being gay is a choice, you are gay. If you can think about rubbing balls with another dude and be excited about it and just think it is Satan tempting you, you are just a repressed gay. "
