who here believes in some sort of reincarnation?

i kinda do....ive read stories of people who remember past lives and that is very convincing. plus i can not remember not being alive so i probably wont be aware of being dead....

i kinda believe it is possible to be born again. in human forms only...

We (humans) argue with 'religions' and end up (mostly all the time) hating each other.... for nonsense... just cause we all give God a different name... and we give the world a different 'creation'....

who cares how the world began... the thing is that we are here.. right?.... and who cares what name God has... the thing is that there's someone out there or something that we believe in... (and we don't gotta) ...as long as we don't live in -war- ...and arguements... for what i believe is complete nonsense!...
so yeah....why is it so hard for us all to get along... why is it that we gotta argue and hate each other... I mean,... i know this is only 'one' of the many things we all don't get along... but if we (humans) quit this 'religion' stuff ... i believe we'll kind of fix our earth a little more... cause right now... this world (humanity) is just broken... so yeah...

or give me your point of view...?!

Can't we all just get along?

Atheists think christians are retarded; that's great, cut the sarcasm.

Christians think atheists are liars who run from the lord out of fear. News flash; atheists don't care about God.

With that established, I can't tell if a person is a Christian or an Atheist unless I ask them, so I don't ask. It doesn't matter; it shouldn't change our opinion of one another. No one is more retarded than the other, one is just more keen to believing what they are told and the other is more keen to being a critic.

I'm an atheist.

my early years in madrassa, a tiny religious school adjacent to our mosque helped me become a human being of a fine character and inculcate a high moral values. with the break of dawn we proceed to mosque for our dawn prayers and after some refreshment proceed to madrassa. along with holy Qur'an and Prohetic hadeeth (prophet's sayings) we were trained in leading purposeful life in line with islamic teaching.

This education helped me in keeping away from GAMBLING, ALCOHOLISM, ACCEPTING INTEREST FROM BANKS, PROSTITUTION AND WOMANIZING and other social and moral evils. But lately some politicians and media are accusing madrassas as breeding ground for terrorists which is nothing but TOTAL and DELIBERATE LIES. This is nothing but a deceiving ploy by Islam bashers and haters who cannot digest that a muslim can keep away from evils and lead a refined and clean life.

What if you DO find out there is a God after you die? Does that scare you ?

Biblical apologists say that although the Bible appears to conflict with itself, when properly understood, there is no contradiction.

Could someone give an example of any two sentences, claims, verses, passages (outside of the Bible) that couldn't be reconsiled with enough equivocation?

Do you know any of these:

(1) That Islam is an ancient religion starting at the time when the universe was created and the time of Prophet Adam [pbuh]

(2) That the God of Islam is the SAME God as in Christianity and Judaism

(3) That no Muslim can be a Muslim UNLESS he accepts that Jesus is the Messenger of God (as such it is the only non-Christian faith that makes it an article of faith that you must accept Jesus [pbuh] as a Prophet of God)

(4) That the holy books of Islam are
- the Book of Moses (1st Testament)
- the Psalms of David
- the Gospel of Jesus (2nd Testament)
- the Noble Quran (3rd and final Testament)

(5) That Jesus [pbuh] Jesus had brown skin and a long beard. He prayed prostrated on his knees. He fasted for one month a year. In his mother tongue of Aramaic, he called God 'Allaha' (as Moses said 'Ella') he was a revolutionary who preached the validity of the scriptures that came before him and he prophesised the coming of a final Prophet, The 'Comforter

I've done everything the Bible says; even the stuff that contradicts the other stuff! - Ned Flanders

There are so many Christians who think Bible contradicts itself, yet they follow. And those who see the contradictions and follow the parts that they fit their ideas.

Which one do you think is right?

First, the Lord tells him:
“You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you. Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive.” (Gen 6:19-20)

Noah does this. But then, out of the blue, God hands down a different set of orders:
“Take with you seven of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and two of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, and also seven of every kind of bird, male and female” (Gen 7:2-3)

Noah must have lifted his eyebrows. Again, he obeys – after all, the Lord is trying to save his life and that of his family. But then, probably to Noah’s confusion, the animals begin to show up in pairs only:
“Pairs of clean and unclean animals, of birds and of all creatures that move along the ground, male and female, came to Noah and entered the ark, as God had commanded Noah. (…) Pairs of all creatures that have
